Do you want to weigh less or look good? No one but you ever sees the scale. Focus on being healthy.

2-4 lbs which also masks any "real" weight loss until I lose the water weight. I felt so bloated this month, I measured my waist, and it was up by .75 inches! Gone with the weight, though.

Does the Classic sync with MFP?

If you are eating only 1200 and then burning 500-600 working out, you are only netting 600 cal/day for basic bodily functions. This is not healthy, and probably why you are not losing. Your NET calories need to be over 1200 - preferably over your BMR.

I try to be within 150 cal of my target. If I have extra from exercise, I try to eat back at least half of those also.

Loved how #12 is Don’t try to isolate Quote: "It’s a scientific and biological fact: you absolutely cannot isolate one set of muscles and lose fat just in that one spot, and that includes belly fat. If there’s a product or pill that promises otherwise, it’s a scam, straight up. To lose stomach fat, you need to change your…

I put my yarn in a shoulder bag and knit while walking. As long as its rather simple pattern and not too heavy, this works great for me.

I also have an accountability group of IRL friends who have joined me on MFP. I appreciate that they will check in on me and hold me accountable. I definitely make better choices when someone is watching!

I have lost 14 lbs from doing Zumba at my church.

Thanks for posting!

Wow! You look amazing!

exactly.

You don't need to eat an entire spoonful every time, either. 1/8 to 1/4 tsp is usually enough to tell if your spices are correct, etc. I am always under by a bit to cover these things, so I don't track under 10 cal things.

Open your diary so we can see what you're eating. Then we can help.

Congrats, and keep up the good work!

Instead of cranberry juice, you can get Cranberry pills in most vitamin sections. Same benefits without the calories. And yes, they work! Just make sure to drink your water, too.

Have a couple of eggs for breakfast.

What's "down time"??? just kidding ;-)

Does MFP add back an additional 300 or so calories for BF? Each nursing session is like its own mini-workout. You may need to slow down your weight loss schedule to compensate.
-
That's how it always goes. Annoying though!

I'll have some hot tea and a Fiber One bar. ...And save calories for the end of the night if you know you will eat again.
-
Wow! You can definitely tell you've lost weight! Keep it up!

I am SAHM of 3 children. They keep me hoppin' !

I had an impedance measurement in Jan, I was at 35.9% body fat - that was 62 lb fat, 110 lean body mass. After losing 14 lb, HealthCentral says I now have 32% body fat. - 51.2 Pounds of fat and 108.8 Pounds of lean whereas LiveStrong says I am at 38.27%. or 62 lb fat, 98 lb lean. I don't believe I lost ALL lean mass and no…

I was just thinking about this today. I have been eating exactly as MFP sat, but have been losing almost twice as fast as I should. Now I know why!

Unless you are not logging everything, it looks like you are ~800 cal under your MFP goal every day. You need to eat more, then your body will start to lose weight. MFP already puts you at a deficit of 500 cal for 1lb/week or 1000 for 2lb/week. If your are then cutting another 800 cal on top of that, you aren't feeding…

I eat two eggs with a piece of toast. Way cheaper.

I have to strategize. I get 1600 cal per day, so I try to eat 300 for Breakfast, 400 for lunch, 600 for dinner, with 2 - 150 cal snacks. I only drink calorie-free. Mostly water, but some diet drinks, too. If I know I will overeat, I make sure to exercise to cover it.

Are you eating back your exercise calories? If you are only eating 1200 and burning 500 of that on exercise, then you are only eating 700 net a day. No, that is not enough. But the first few weeks weight loss is your water weight, after that it is "real" weight loss. 1 lb a week is great. Try eating more and you may do…
