I do Aerobics, High Intensity.

I'm a lefty, but do most sports right handed.

I freeze burritos. Wrap each one in a paper towel then in foil and bag them. To eat, take one out and remove the foil. Microwave in the paper towel for about 45 sec. Quick individual portions for lunch or dinner.

Showering is the perfect time to charge the FB. Assuming you are not doing a workout in the shower, it will still continue to calculate your calories burned based on your BMR.

Fitbit makes it all so much easier. If you keep your settings at Sedentary, it will give you an adjustment for your daily activity. you won't need to log anything unless you are swimming or doing something else that Fitbit won't pick up. And it won't adjust too much. Remember how MFP is set up. It already gives you a 500…

I have an 8 year old and 4 year old twins. I didn't think I was very active when I started either. I would suggest to track your activity for a week and calculate your TDEE. I ended up having to keep adjusting my activity level up until it was at Very Active. That matched my TDEE, and I lost exactly 1lb/week. Now, I have a…

Most don't "hide" their diaries. The default when you join is Private. You have to intentionally open it. Most people don't know that it is something that need to do.

I use Aerobics, High Impact to track mine. If you don't think that's accurate enough for you, you can enter exercises manually on the exercise tab. Do a search, then click Add New Exercise at the bottom.

That's real success! Pounds are good, but health is GREAT!

Let me guess. You said you wanted to lose 2lb/week, and MFP said you could only eat 1200 calories. Now you are starving... Calculate your BMR and don't eat below that. Modify your goals to a reasonable level. http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/

I won't eat with less than an hour before working out. So if I wake up early enough I eat, if not, I wait. I prefer to eat first, but not if it will make me cramp up or vomit.

I'm hourglass shaped, but the first place to go was my bust. The rest is finally starting to catch up, though.
-
My base calories have gotten so low that I have to exercise to not feel hungry. I've slowed to 1/2 lb per week, too.
-
Only if you want to lose extra weight due to food poisoning! Cooking chicken to 165F is the only way to kill bacteria such as Salmonella and Listeria that are commonly found in chicken.
-
1 lb a week is great! You are trying to make a lifestyle change - not a diet. Diets and fads bring the weight back as soon as your "done." Be patient and practice self-control - you will succeed!!!!

This is one of the best sites. It shows how to dress to your own body type. Hope it helps! http://www.shopyourshape.com/body-shapes.html

Zumba is my only exercise. I have lost 24 lbs and 4 inches from my waist in 4 months.
-
24 lbs in 4 months. I've slowed down since I'm almost to my goal!
-
I'm 5'4 and my goal is 145. But I'm almost there, may go to 135.
-
I did this on vacation, increasing my calories to maintenance. I didn't gain anything except a little water weight (gone the next day), and have lost 2 more lbs since getting back.
-
Normal, just know that it will slow down. If you still keep losing 2+ a week after the first few, you may need to up your activity level, though. You're doing great!
-
Newbies don't know that the default for their account is a closed diary. They have to intentionally go and change the settings to open it. So until someone tells them, they may not know.

5'4 and 140 is a healthy weight for a 33yo female. I would focus on a healthier lifestyle than losing weight. Doing exercise activities together with you to make it fun. But maybe 140 is her optimal weight.

I'm 5'4 and my goal is 145. I have 108 lbs of lean body mass, so if I went to 110, I would only have 1% body fat! Definitely not healthy. I am at 150 right now, and DH said I already look perfect. So if I get those last 5 lbs, I will be in healthy BMI (I know its the worst measure, but still want to be in it).

Water! Brush your teeth after every meal (mint makes you less likely to eat) If you know you will be hungry in the evening, why not just save some calories for late night?

There's a Fitbit group on MFP for these types of questions. Check it out, it might help. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/1307-fitbit-users
