I love pizza but when pizza hut (the only pizza restaurant by me) soaks the crust in oil it's not good for you. I've made homemade pizzas that I could eat everyday and be healthy.

I've tried the 30 bananas a day diet. It was way too much raw food to start and I didn't digest most of it. I do eat more fruit every day because of it but I've gone back to a normal diet with lean proteins and vegetables.

There is no such thing as too much fruit as long as you are getting enough protein and fat from other foods and don't have issues with sugar like diabetes. I eat a whole watermelon almost every day and have never felt better.

Thanks for this. I'll be looking into the GAPS diet since gut health is the most important issue. I've tried the candida diet for a while and it didn't get rid of the problem. It has been healing now that I'm eating more fruits and vegetables, meat, nuts and seeds and no breads or grains.

I was foolish to try the banana diet for a few days while doing heavy squats. I ate about 42 bananas one day and other days I would eat spinach or kale and banana smoothies and I was really sore from the squats for about a week. Usually eating normal amounts of protein I'm only sore about 2-3 days maximum. I broke down and…

I've taken both ketoconazole (Nizoral) and fluconazole (Diflucan) for candida but my case was too severe for the candida to go away. The problem with these anti-fungals is there can be liver damage which in rare cases can be fatal. I also was on high doses of Nystatin at the time, which is a safer choice for long term use.…

If you are really serious about this, there's a book called "Chronic Candidiasis" by Michael T. Murray. It's the best I've found on candida issues.

How would you know anything? They can be life changing and saving to people with medical conditions that don't have a cure yet besides by changing the diet. Doctors will give drugs that treat the symptoms but usually have side effects when it can easily be reversed by food.

Just because the market is full of shysters doesn't mean detoxing or cleansing doesn't work. Most people are unwilling because it's a big change in diet for them. They should still be eating the same amount of calories.

This will be helpful. I usually just put aminos on spring mix.

Eating a lot of greens like kale, spinach, chard, parsley, cilantro, etc. will make you feel full. Almonds also help with this.

Thanks for the article. I really need to read a book on programming.

You might want to take vitamins to help your arthritis. I would recommend taking a b-100 complex every day. B-6 is especially helpful according to this study: http://www.nature.com/ejcn/journal/v64/n9/full/ejcn2010107a.html A large dose of vitamin B6 supplementation (100 mg/day) suppressed pro-inflammatory cytokines (that…
