I’m mostly no fruit now except for avocados and not many since I’m getting sick of them. I may have some berries when they are in season for South America in the winter here, probably just a pint or two though. I like how mostly all meat makes you look thin even when you’re not from getting rid of the excess fluids and…

I’m usually 5-10 carbs a day usually from dairy and seafood.

I'll spend more for dextrose free products like Redmond salt. I've also read the cheaper salts have plastic particles in them from the processing.

I love melons. Watermelons are so refreshing in hot weather. I like cantaloupes for breakfast in the summer as well.
-
I eat similarly, mostly carnivore. I’ll have to try yoplait YQ yogurt. Most yogurt has too much sugar. Pecans are one of the best nuts, no doubt about that! That must be difficult to bake and not eat the final product. I guess that’s why your numbers are so good. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice! What are your staples to your diet?

I had sweet corn this summer, which I loved in the past. I only ate 2 ears and almost a whole stick of butter. I didn't enjoy the corn that much, I was there for the butter. Now french bread, butter, and honey is a different story.

Those *kitten*! I quit eating pepperoni and braunschweiger because they use dextrose in them. So much for processed meats.

Eggs and steak are mostly all I eat right now. I’m definitely not hungry most of the time.

Great transformation! Keep on going!

I thought it was funny because I choose a lot of food based on nutrient density, not just taste. Inside joke, although not really funny.
-
why eat foods for taste? ;)

I'm on a steak, bacon, fish, seafood, and egg diet. It's working great for me. I do supplement some nutrients like vitamin c, d, e, k2, folate, and iodine but not every day. Mustard is high in selenium and decent amounts of thiamine and manganese. Maybe you are lacking these nutrients?

I’m getting serious about losing weight as well. I’m meat based keto, mostly carnivore. I’m going to try to lift weights every day and eat very well. I enjoy all the foods I eat and it doesn’t feel like a diet.
-
I’m trying to be carnivore, so I'm not eating much fruit mainly avocados and I still have a bunch of lemons sitting in the fridge.
-
Try steaks if you can afford them or ground beef. Eggs are nutrient dense and a lot or a little fat can be added to meals based on how many calories you have left.

I take doctor's best d3 5000 iu and k2 100 mcg daily when I remember. If I missed some days I take 10,000 iu. I also take 800 iu vitamin e occasionally. Vitamin A is from cod liver oil and liver and a few veggies. Those are all your fat soluble vitamins.

Woohoo to no woo.

I drink full fat kefir but I’ve cut down to about a quart a week since it’s liquid calories and I wasn’t losing weight. I gave up milk a long time ago except on special occasions.

Carrots, onions, cilantro, and cabbage are cheap for fresh here. Those are what I stick to mostly. No problem, I hope the thread will be some use to people. I’d like to get a lot of veggies in a day but I also like carnivore/meat based eating. No they mean 9 cups for most of the veggies, actually 12 cups if you have raw…

I think you have to work up to 9 cups. I doubt most people are used to that much in the beginning of the diet. I know a few people that swear by acupuncture as well for other issues. It must have been a great feeling to get that mobility back.

That was a pretty good diet and lucky if you weren’t paralyzed.I remember the eat the rainbow diet. I never followed it though. I barely ate veggies until after I got sick from too many antibiotics. My brother was the one who told me he adds peanut butter, stevia, and cocoa to the veggies to make them edible. Now I omit…

That's great! I've been thinking of adding more carbs from veggies as well. I was 90% carnivore but it just doesn't seem to be doing much, so I'm going to try about 70% meat based. I'm already eating lean steak so that's what I'm going to continue with but veggie smoothies had a place in my major weight loss last time.

I took notes on a Wahls Protocol book, but haven't put into action anything. Found the notes. Leafy greens(3 cups a day cooked, 6 raw) 3 cups a day Sulfur-rich(raw or cooked) 3 cups a day Nonstarchy colorful(raw or cooked) 3 a day Starchy color As part of 3 cups color Dark Green Vegetables Arugula Beet Greens Bok Choy and…

Therapeutic doses of vitamin isolates are almost always much higher than most food amounts, especially B vitamins. I just quickly found the link to help someone looking for foods with inositol. As goes with any internet link, use with caution.

The Weston A Price Foundation is against any soy, that's when I stopped eating it besides occasional processed foods like ice cream or chocolate. I don't think there is any reason why men should have it?

Carrot fries sound good, I might have to try that. I'll fry them in butter. Only for a treat once in a while. I have raw honey but I don't have it very much at all. It's excellent to fulfill a sugar craving that will not go away. I also believe organic is tastier most of the time. Soon it will be cranberry season, so I…

I was thinking of having one medium organic potato if I have a cheat day or meal. I'd make a hash brown out of it and fry in butter with seasoned salt. Jicama makes good raw fries. https://healinggourmet.com/healthy-recipes/raw-jicama-fries/ Carrots are most of my carbs for the day when I have veggie smoothies. Carnivores…

wow those are some lousy experiences with doctors. I try to avoid them except I have to see them when I have to fill my high blood pressure meds which I may be able to get rid of soon. They really tried to get me to get a flu shot but I declined. If I get the flu, I will use high dose vitamin c.

I live in an apartment without even a balcony. My parents have a garden but deer seem to eat most of the stuff so they don't plant much. I would love some garden fresh produce otherwise.
