i upped my calories about a week and a half ago and today the scale showed a loss...i was on seriously negative calories, i was burning 1000-1200 a day and only eating back that amount, so i was technically on zero...be prepared for a small gain first x

yes, i have a polar HRM...i run at 9mph for alot of my runs(intervals on treadmill) so the calories do tend to be very high...but i deliberately don't eat back all of my exercise calories to allow for BMR(obviously i'm already eating those back in my base cals) and any possible over-estimation of calories/under-estimation…

haha it is indeed! for those unsure about exercising in pregnancy, with my first two i was told not to...but i did alot of research and it's fine to do whatever you were doing pre-preg as long as you feel comfortable! just can't wait to get back to exercising again now though...hubby has gotten strict and put me on…

i think people do need to be patient with january go-ers...i was one and people made it clear to me that they didn't think i'd be there long and i was just a nuisance taking up one of 'their' machines and a space in 'their' classes....i proved them wrong and ended up staying for 4yrs! and being one of the ones in my gym…

i prefer to do machine work on my own, but i LOVE classes where i can have some interaction too i used to go with my sister when i first started, but now i'm 50lbs lighter and she's 100lbs heavier, so she can't keep up to my pace and i can't slow to hers, so it's not comfortable working out together
