do you eat quorn products??? these are generally very low carb and high protein...and so-so for sodium x
-
i am a treadmill runner and thought i was fit...then i went on a road run with my brother and oh my! i was absolutely hanging out....road running is definitely harder...and tbh my brother says running outside is a much better toner than just running on the road...calorie wise though neither seem to be 'more' of a burner…

i go by my hrm and if i'm doing a home workout it'll take me about 2hours to burn 1200cals, if i'm not doing a home workout i'll do 45min treadmill and then a 4-5hour walk and that will burn anything up to 2000cals...usually about 1600 or so

thanks everyone! MzMiller...i stopped working out when i got pregnant with my daughter, then had my son straight after and gained over 50lbs so i know not to stop exercising...i don't think i could willingly give it up!
-
when i was doing the weight loss thing the first time i allowed for a 99cal choccy bar at the end of every day...it meant that i had something to look forward to and i didn't binge on big high cal/fat choccies
-
i don't log tea or energy drinks(sugar free) because it adds up my sodium figures and that freaks me out, i have hundreds of calories at the end of the day left so i always know i have the cals/fat/carbs etc left
-
my husband doesn't want to lose weight(and doesn't really need to at 185lbs, 6ft) but he also encourages me, cooks most of the meals and will do seperate for me if he's having something unhealthy so i'm really very lucky
-
i actually can't think of anything i like about my body....probably my hands because they're quite skinny
-
i personally have been told i'm 'gross' because my ribs are slightly visible' by my own brother...and i get told at least once a week that 'you don't need to lose more weight!' when i know that i do...my SIL announced that she was going to 'feed me up cos im a stick' yeh, cos i work for 2.5hrs on a treadmill...or spend…

i have two...my treadmill and my HRM...i couldn't live without either!
-
i could, and do i have weeks where i go and visit family and don't like to use their computers(or dont have chance) so i either do the figures on a calculator or using pen and paper...also during the day generally i'll calculate mentally what i have the calorie allowance for and log in the evening...it'd take a hell of…
-
early mornings before the kids get up, as i then have the whole day to give them my full attention rather than spending the day obsessing that i need to workout...unfortunately i'm not a morning person and my daughter has a sleep disorder so i don't get much sleep so anything before 8am feels like the middle of the night…
-
i tend to get these too(i run up to 13miles some days...8mph onthe treadmill)...sometimes so bad i'm doubled over in agony...it happens whether i eat heavy or light before a workout so i know that doesn't make a difference(for me anyways) i remember reading about something called 'runners trots' which causes a runner to…

-
this is my 2nd time i was always a chubby teen and when i hit 21 i had enough and joined a gym...i got down to 126lbs and had(in my opinion) my perfect body...then i had kids and gained all of the weight back that i lost..so i'm back to trying to lose it all again, and then some more
-
my treadmill way overcalculates i was logging over 1500cals for some workouts as that was what my treadmill was tellin me, when i got a HRM i was absolutely gutted to find out that the treadmill was HUNDREDS of calories higher than my actual burn if you're worried i'd definitely invest in a HRM
-
my evening meal tends to be my biggest calorie intake...it's when i have the most time to sit back and enjoy it...evening meal is usually between 500-600cals
-
thanks for all of the fab ideas...i think i'll be heading out to get some veggies tomorrow and giving some of the ideas a try
-
i have gone from fat to fit, had 2 children and have gotten myself back to fit again(i gained over 50lbs having my kids) i am not perfectly happy with my tummy yet but it's almost there here is apost i put up acouple of weeks back…
-
i'm really liking the idea of carb cycling...but i exercise so much i'll be drinking protein shakes all day long! lol
-
i really don't think going over, or even a little under will hinder weight loss as you're still burning calories...my 'zone' is 126-165 and i have days where i go walking and am only in my zone for some of that time, and sometimes when i workout it's much higher...and it's not hindered my weight loss at all
-
i tend to have my own seperate meals...he'll have something like brocoli pasta bake(a huge portion at 900odd calories) and i'll go for wholegrain rice, monterey crispbakes and an omlette(2whole eggs, 2whites) and it works out just fine if we have a meal that is the same i make sure to make mine a much smaller portion and…

i wish!! i'd be alot less stressed! lol. clintswifeymomof4...thanks, tbh it was just a quick 'oooh you look good, get the cam out' shot just after hitting the shower so there wasn't any pre-planning to find a bikini but i will remember that next time thanks for all the positive comments
-
it really is just a case of keep going isabelk...have a bad day? move on and make tomorrow a better one. not feeling motivated...make yourself get up and sludge your way through it...the days you don't fancy doing exercise are the best because you end up feeling so proud that you did it
-
that's fantastic!!! well done you for making so much progress!
-
i'm not faking being humble...i personally am not bothered that there is alot on show as all the important bits are covered...i just wanted to warn people that there was alot of flesh on show. i probably would have got some negative comments for not giving a forewarning, so i do apologise of making a 'side note of it' if…
