  • it is totally normal to gain weight during 'that week' as your body retains water and general hormone changes messes everything up i gain up to 4lbs during TOM so i avoid weighing in at all as i know i'll be down about it
  • i have a weight watchers one that calculates weight/bmi/bodyfat % and water %....the body fat and water bits aren't accurate but the weight part has been accurate and doesn't fluctuate even if you step on it 10times(like i have done! lol)

  • i tend to eat a small snack before working out or i'll start to lag halfway through, and then have a decent meal after...it's all about what works for you i was working out and not eating after because i thought you weren't suposed to eat after 8pm...so wrong...i eat any time of day and it's not hindered my loss at all xx
  • it's totally dependant on size/weight....i use a polar hrm and for me(at 141lbs) it burns about 250cals during the 25mins!

  • i took yesterday off and ate whatever i wanted...yet only went 58cals over my goal!! whoop!!! got back on track today with 30day shred but am going away to family in the morning so won't be properly back on track until new year!
  • i am exactly the same...my machines tell me i burn nearly double the amount my hrm says, yet for walking and stuff mfp calculates less than the hrm

  • with only a 250cal burn on the shred(i use a reliable hrm) i didn't think 1200 would be too low...i also eat alot of protein, with being vegetarian i am nearly always over on my protein as i eat a lot of quorn
  • i'm a week into the 30day shred by jillian micheals...it's great because it's only 25mins so doesn't feel like too much of a challenge after a hard day dealing with the kids
  • hey all!! well today i did my normal 2hour cardio(burns average 1150cals) and then i did the 30day shred(day 1) and omg i literally couldn't walk down the stairs, i had proper jelly legs!!! having seen some of the pics from that i'm hoping it'll tone my hips and tummy a little! anyone else doing it!?!

  • i'd take it as a cheat day and get straight back to it tomorrow i tend to not log when i have a bad day as i feel awful seeing i've gone over, but i make extra effort the next day

  • when i did the gym(i have my own home gym now) i used to be one that was on the phone half the time...it kept my focus off of the workout and onto something else...i can see that it would be annoying to others though
