after the kids are in bed, they both go at 6pm, so i'll grab some dinner and then do a workout, but by the time i'm done working out it's too late to eat more going by the 'no eating late' rule thanks for the advice and links :) i'll get reading as soon as

i don't lose that much everydays...i have a funky cycle of lose...stabilise for a day or so, lose again, maybe gain 0.5, then lose 1lb etc, it's not a constant every day loss...should have worded that differently) i do try to eat alot more but i never really feel hungry or have time to eat...i look after my 2yr old that…

this sounds just like what i do and i'm down 29lbs so something must be working!

i bought an ft4 about 2weeks ago and LOVE it! it takes about 5mins to put in your settings(super easy) and it's great to know just how much i'm REALLY burning my treadmill was telling me i was burning 1500cals per session...got that and found out it's only about 900!!
-
i wish i could poo out 3lbs worth!!! but i did this the other day, checked my weight...felt the urge to go, then for random curiosity sake i checked my weight again...i lost the 3/4lb i'd gained since weighing myself the day before!
-
yeh i dropped 54lbs before having two kids and i had proper chunky hands and feet...both became quite skinny as i lost more and more!

i bought a polar f4 HRM about 2weeks ago and tbh i'm a little obsessed with it during a workout...i have to hit a certain goal or i feel well down...but it is an amazing tool...the treadmill was telling me i was burning 1500cals a session...in fact it was only 900! if i forget to wear it, and i know that i've worked out as…

same wedding date here!! do you find spanx really effectively hold you in?? my problem is that since having kids my skin is quite stretchy, so i look half the size if i wear decently fitting clothes, so was considering something like spanx to hold my hips in! sweet....you look amazing! and the dress is beautiful

i generally go to bed about midnight and am up at 8ish...but am up quite a bit in the night with a disabled daughter whose condition involves severe sleep disorder :(

i have just read this link and i am baffled by it...how is it possible?? to maintain my goal weight i'd need to eat about 1700cals...before exercise...yet mfp tells me to maintain my current weight it's onlt 1800or so....so that's only a 100ish deficit...so it's not actually possible is it!?! tbh i'd love to give this a…

i just used the weight watchers scales that measure weight, bmi, body fat and water mass. i know i should probably use something more accurate but i don't have access to anything else

i took a 10mile walk in the cold yesterday and i couldn't bring myself to do it today!!! i have a gym set up on my top floor but it's so cold i end up frozen going up there so i do tend to exercise less

i'm sticking to 1200calories a day, but burning anywhere between 900-1200 most days walking and running...i definitely need to change my plan though as i seem to have hit a wall and have a weird cycle going on...i'll lose 1lb-1.5lb, stay that weight for a day or two, then gain 1/4-1/2lbs, then gain a whacking 1.5lbs...then…

before i had kids i was 130lbs(had worked to get down from 184lbs) and then, after 2kids within 12months of each other i realised that i was buying size 14s(uk sizes) and they were skin tight, that was when i decided that i wasn't going to let myself get any bigger, i needed to be healthy and full of energy for my kids
-
hey everyone!!! can i join?? i have 26lbs to lose, have lost 26 already but it's not going as quickly as i hoped! i have two babies...a severely disabled 2yr old, and a very active one year old...and i'm getting married on 15th jan 2011!!!!

perhaps try filling up on fruits and low calorie stuff before going to the restaurant, you're less likely to eat too much...or do a more intense workout than you'd normally do, burn extra calories so you have more to use! as for christmas, i have no idea except...willpower!
-
i'm desperate to lose anything as i seem to be hitting a wall so 10lbs by xmas day sounds great! my current weight is 152...so goal weight for xmas day is 142!
-
i wish i had DDs!! during pregnancy mine went from a B to a D....then down to about a C...now i've lost some weight they're back to a B....i'd like to have a little something left at the end! lol
-
i've been using the tracker for a while and recently got a HRM and i found after doing the same amount of exercise that mfp had been underestimating it a little...which i was quite pleased about! lol also do not trust machines, i've been burning 1500cals a session....did a workout yesterday with said HRM and it was 600cals…

it's not out in the uk until friday but have just taken a look and it looks fab...i think that's one i will be buying although my oh has just said if i want to buy it on xbox, not wii, and want to buy a kinect at £129.99 he won't object! lol

True FS01 which is why my intake is rarely over 1200calories and when it is over never more than 1800
-
mine is a polar ft4....i very much recommend it i was absolutely devastated today that i wasn't burning as much as i thought, and with 2 babies i just don't have the time to do more, but it's great knowing exactly how much i am burning and how badly the machines are over-estimating
-
quorn stuff is full of protein....and is lovely and low cal...so being a veggie shouldn't make a difference to your protein x

when i hit 9stones(126lbs) i'll be 'happy' and stop losing weight, but i won't be truly happy with my body until i'm as fit and toned as i was 3years ago(before having two kids!)
-
my first was a loss....it was about 4lbs in a week...but that soon slowed right down! good luck with your weigh in, i hope it's positive!
-
it's via a machine and i always get up to '1500' but am aware it can be way wrong which is why i try to never eat more than 1/4 of my workout calories
-
not sure how i've done....i've not eaten anything bad(well except a slice of my son's home made birthday cake'(minus the icing!) but i did a 1500calorie workout so my net cals are about 100 or something so pretty sure i've actually not eaten enough...but it's too late to eat anymore!!!
-
mine is like this! i weighed myself yesterday and i was 154lbs...this morning i'm 155.5! i stuck exactly to my calories so no way can i have gained...my scale is pretty new though so no reason for it to mess up so bad :(
-
i generally weigh myself every week BUT lately my partner suggested i start weighing in daily and taking not of what i do differently and if it causes weight loss or not etc but...after apparently gaining 1lb in 24hours by just sticking to my 1200 allotted cals i'm feeling very down about it and wish i hadn't weighed…

so sorry your husband was so insensitive but maybe you can use it to fuel you on! when i was halfway through weight loss last time i was chatting to a guy online, met up with him and as we were sat having a coffee he asked 'so you work out most days...wow, you must eat alot!!' with a really insulting tone...i was offended…
