I love Subway and it smells good to me. The one at my Wal-mart smells funny, though, even just walking by. (I've never eaten at that one.) It smells like burnt pizza. :P

I usually only wear light make-up anyway, so I try to wear it to the gym (since I look really bad without). A little foundation and some lip color, maybe some blush, make me look more presentable. If nothing else, then at least the foundation.

Age: 25 Kids: None. Activity level: Low day to day. Exercise is sporadic, some weeks better than others. Drive: Medium? Not all the time, but maybe 3/4 days of the week I'm good to go.

I wish I could keep mine short, but it's so thick and bushy that I never get it cut shorter than shoulder-length. That's "short" for me. But I hate having to fuss with it, so I usually wear it up in a ponytail or a bun.

The first place I started to lose it was from my stomach, but that's a problem area, so it wasn't really noticeable to me at first...although a few people close to me noticed it. But then I noticed that my thighs were starting to be more toned. So even though that wasn't exactly weight loss, I was proud of that. :)

Sparkpeople.com has some really good workout videos you can do at home. They also have a section where they list different exercises and how to do them. There are many you can do without equipment.

I have "only lost" 15 pounds, BUT I'm a size smaller in pants, and I can get through an entire 1-hr. cardio-kickboxing class--something I probably wouldn't have been able to do a few years ago.

On reality competition shows when a contestant tells the camera, "I just need to step it up." Sure, they need to do better, but they've probably been trying their hardest up until now--"step it up" isn't a very specific strategy.

It can be really frustrating when you feel like you're ready to change but it's still hard to commit to those changes. As long as you keep trying, that's all that matters for now.

I'm 5'8" and I'm headed for 160 lbs., although at that point I'll probably want to get down to 150. I'm 195.5 lbs. now. I lost about 15 lbs. last summer, but since then I've been up & down between 197 and 194. So I'm a little stuck right now. -_-;;

One day I came home and I thought my dad was eating chips--but it turned out he was eating from a bag of raw carrot slices my mom bought in the bagged salad area. They're kind of textured, like a ruffle potato chip. Because of the texture, they almost seem to taste better than baby or regular carrots.

I've had success with Lexapro. My doctor has me get blood work done for a lipid profile test every 6 months to make sure it's not affecting my weight, and it hasn't so far after 7 years. It's different for each person, though, but that's my experience.

I love them in homemade guacamole! Gotta watch out for the calories/fat in the chips, though. I always get the avocado spread on my sandwich at Subway now. I should try putting avocado on my sandwiches at home, too. :9
