I read today in Fitness magazine that the diet is good because it does promote healthier food choices but the real reason the diet works is because it's low calorie. So, it is possible for you to find success somewhere else. Best of luck to you!

I agree. It then gets hard for me to get back on track. I have to work hard to re-lose the weight I gained from my pigout session. Instead, I'm now trying to incorporate small treats each day so I don't feel so deprived.

I count what I eat while I'm awake. The hard part comes in when I'm up for almost 24 hr, like I will be today. I get up early on Sat but I have to work tonight and won't get back to bed until Sun morning. I've noticed that MFP will automatically start your new day around 2am if you haven't completed your log by then.

Thanks for the post. My friends and I usually bring our own "snacks" to the movies, except its more like Subway, McDonalds or KFC. Never once an apple. LOL
