Me and my wife plan our meals two weeks out at a time. It makes it really easy to stay within your diet and it saves on our grocery bill because we know exactly what we need to buy and no food goes to waste.

You should be proud not demoralised. Most people fall off the wagon and don't find their motivation again for months or even years after! I think it is good to establish limits for yourself but don't fret when you go outside of those limits.

6 beers in one sitting is considered binge drinking. Occasionally that may not be bad, even though many health professionals disagree, but nightly cant be healthy. I can't imagine you are getting anywhere close to the nutrients you would need to have a "healthy" appearance.
