Perhaps try to loosen the strap some to where it's comfortable. What you have to do with these HRM straps is make sure you wet the two contact points (lick em) before putting it on. The wetter they are the better contact they make. Also be sure to dry the contact points when you are one. it will help save the battery life.

Three weeks in South Africa this November.

You have to feeling incredibly awesome!!!! Great commitment.

Yeah nice!! Of everything thats talked about, written, sold, resold, reinvented and televised ad nauseam, the path you just outlined seems to be the best path there is to long term sustained weight loss. Just add a pinch of exercise. Way to go

I used Chantix. It worked for me. Not had one in over three years now. Was full time for twenty years.

I'm a desk jockey. I could sit down and not have to get up for eight hours. I have to get myself moving, I take short "walkabouts" numerous times a day for at least 10 minutes. It all adds up

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!. Will take time off as recommended, and definitely use ice, and maybe get some new shoes. I don't want to do any permanent damage, so I will definitely follow all suggestions. If nothing changes in a few days I'll go see a Foot man (or woman) It makes for perfect opportunity to drag the…

I use a Polar F6 and a Sole F63 Treadmill. The treadmill compared to the chest receiver is drastically different. I have to believe that the best method is using the Polar watch and the chest strap.

I'm particular to the Weight Watchers Chrome and Glass Scale http://www.walmart.com/ip/Weight-Watchers-Chrome-and-Glass-Scale/10669155 Got it from Walmart for $35, and it seems like its as accurate as I need it to be.

Complete garbage, a method to extract cash from your pocket and place it in her's. Don't buy it ;)

Have friends that own an Anytime Franchise. It looks like a really great setup. Go in and ask for a free week before you make up your mind. They will be happy to offer it up.

What a difference!!!....great commitment to get it done....congratulations!!

I had to send mine in to Polar to have the batteries changed after about a year. If it's new take it back to the store. Oh....make sure you go into settings and check your weight and height and age are all set correctly. Make sure the heart rate is showing before you hit the start button, and check it every so often to…

Thats just brilliant. I happened to take snaps of myself just wearing my shorts, from the front and the side, printed colour copies on photo paper and stuck them on the fridge.... So far I've not heard myself say 'damm, you look fine"!! ......as I place my hand of the fridge door.....we shall see how long this lasts ;)

100% no. You are doing the right thing, combining cardio with weight training, you might do a little more weight training than cardio. As a female (assumed) it would take you a longlong time to developed overly muscular legs. Dont worry about it, keep it up!!!

I'd have to echo that a decent HRM is a better setup than a pedometer. That being said, it's still a good motivator and tracking tool.
-
INCREDIBLE !! You should be so very proud of your accomplishment.

My wife was diagnosed with bc 9/5/08. She's cancer free after the trypical trio of treatments. We will be there every year. October 2nd - Charlotte NC

WOW WOW WOW!!!! Such amazing commitment, you must feel so awesome :)
-
Maybe under aerobics?....its a more intense workout than that, but it may tide you over 'til the HRM gets home.
-
My wife and I would do the same thing at least three nights a week (sometimes four). Inevitably you end up with a buzz and then it's food time.....and of course anything goes, because control has left you end entered the wine bottle (beer bottle, rum bottle etc). Bring on the nacho's, the cherry garcia....whatever....…

home check-in edit previous You should be able to delete or make changes there.

I'm a noob here too, I've opened mine up, but I only have three days worth of data. :blushing:

Personally, I would only accept what your HRM tells you as long as you have customized it with your height, weight, age. It's probably going to be the most accurate.
