Look into cinnamon tablets, I have a friend that swears they help with her levels. I haven't found enough research to convince me yet though.

was insulin resistant for years, took metformin to slow the progress. Now 20 YEARS later I am diabetic. Still take metformin and on 1800 ADA, A1C is just over 6 and lost 24 lbs since I started it in Jan. Anything is possible, you just have to be willing to make the effort it takes to change.

i have a really hard time drinking water, and adding something makes me get bored to easy. I add crystal light or sugar free but mix it weak and change it often so i don't get bored and it is working better for me.:drinker:

I'm going to be blunt. How you were treated is bulls&%t! You were threatened, the police should have done more. It makes me wonder if he has a record or is on parole. ANYTIME someone threatens you, call the police. it is the only way to stop it. TKs for letting me rant, I have been assaulted.

When I was tested for food allergies years ago it was a 5 day water only diet then a regimented reintroduction of foods. On day 4 i itched so bad I thought I was going to die, but found my allergies so I am better that way now.

Not sure what type of emotional eating you do. General binging or a specific food. If it is a specifit "not healthy food", get rid of it and substitute something healthier or find some other kind of replacement ( I kraft or make a game out of taking a fave recipe and making it healthier)

I have a hard time drinking plain water. I have a bottle that holds 34 ounces that i put one crystal light in and fill. I have a really big coffee cup and have it with tea for breakfast (that makes 3 more). A cup of coffee or tea at work and a glass of water with my evening meds.
