As long as I'm at my maintenance amount or even about 200 calories over it - I instantly forgive myself, move on and eat at a deficit the next day, sometimes a higher deficit than normal but definitely a not too crazy one so I don't binge (been there got numerous t-shirts). As others have said - any dramatic increases in weight over a small period of time is very likely to be water retention. I can go up and down 5lbs... Sometimes even 10lbs :noway: depending on how much water I'm retaining. Take it with a pinch of salt. :flowerforyou:

Nope, the time doesn't affect your weight loss at all. You're at the exact same deficit, it's totally up to you how you space them out! I'm also partial to a 2am munchie when watching a dvd yay for stupidly late munchies :drinker:

There is no such thing as starvation mode in terms of skipping breakfast, eating 1200 cals here and there or not eating for a few hours which a lot of magazines in particular make the public believe!
