Where the heck do I start!!!! As a 14 year old with a 'ick... vegetables and all other things healthy' view, I lived on spaghetti hoops, white bread, chocolate cereal bars and (highly processed, high sugar + high salt) tomato soup. The below are all things I wouldn't have bat an eyelid at 5 years ago. Cottage cheese Peanut…

1 cal cooking spray (although I did in the past, then realised this was slightly coocoo as I was only using 4 or 5 sprays.... There's being accurate and then there's being a bit of a loony!!!)

Quest Bars, about 2 years ago, completely stole my heart (and my purse, bank account, etc). But honestly, these taste SO good and put cravings to a complete HALT. One thing I wish is that I'd tried more flavours sooner, I stuck with the Cookie Dough, Cookies & Cream, White Choc Chunk and Double Choc Chunk as these were the…

395 calories, 60g protein, 32g carbs, 4g fat. I post a lot of my food pics on my Instagram - alexwilsonx :flowerforyou: I'll follow if I know you're from MFP!

I definitely recommend The Protein Works! I was having the exact same problem as you, even so-called 'chocolate' flavoured protein I tried in various brands tasted nastyyyy to me (and I'm a chocoholic, I like anything chocolate flavoured so it had to be bad!!). The Protein Works have 18+ incredible flavours (Butterscotch…

Duuuude, it's your birthday!!!!! Eat the damn cake  and get back on MFP the next day, no harm at all done. Much more harm done in fretting over a lavish meal, the cake, the fancy drinks, and constantly worrying about calories and not enjoying yourself as much... and regretting it in years to come because you were…

If I'm hungry and have no cals left for the day I log it into tomorrow's data. No horrible red numbers for me!! :noway:

True. S'alllll about the deficit. Me, I just exercise so I can eat more.
-
I usually have a midnight snack, usually a Quest or Nakd bar even at around 2am. I'm a student and stay up late. Then have breakfast around half 6-7am coz I'm usually starving so I guess my fasts are tiny!

Cold Heinz tomato soup, straight from the can     Needed to add - eating/drinking the tomato sauce juice from a tin of spaghetti hoops...

I understand how it can be taken negatively, but really when people say you're eating too little and therefore doomed to fail, all they want to do is to prevent you from experiencing the horrible 'binge-starve-binge-starve' cycle that is extremely hard to get out of. When your deficit is too high and you are eating not…

Have you considered instant porridge? 100 cals for a sachet and with almond milk you can make it around 140 cals for the whole breakfast.
-
I have no idea. But I do believe it helps to surpress your appetite... That's how I'm so thin now.  Jokes. No really I'm joking :embarassed:

I buy mine from Amazon, they occassionally come up at an ace price and cheaper than the majority of places. Favourite is definitely the White Choc Raspberry... followed by Choc Chip Cookie Dough, Double Choc Chunk, Cookies & Cream then Strawberry Cheesecake. But they're all pretty awesome.

I'm only 20, have never been overweight and infact quite a low weight but have cellulite on the backs of my thighs. I used to make myself miserable worrying about it, found out my friends all have it too and that my bf really doesn't give a hoot!! I truly don't care anymore. It's life. :glasses:

Like many many many others have said - I used to, not anymore. It did nothing but create a bad relationship with food and I started to see food as the devil. When it's a fantastic joy humans should love and appreciate. Love you food.

They have insane macros (5g net carbs, 20g protein, 6g fat) considering how fantastic they taste    heck they taste like PUDDINGS! My favourites are White Choc Raspberry, Choc Chip Cookie Dough, Double Choc Chunk and Cookies & Cream. After dealing with binge urges in the past, I incorporated these into my…

I have most of my calories by 1pm. It's just what I prefer and what works for me. I luhhhh my food in the mornings. :blushing:

A small bowl of porridge oats, some almond milk and adding an Options hot choc sachet (I love the white chocolate ones) can come in under 200 calories and is very satisfying plus relatively nutritious

It refers to someone who is a low weight, but has low muscle % and a high(er) body fat %. Generally the aim is the opposite - to have more muscle and less fat which is why incorporating some weights and exercise in general whilst eating in a deficit is important! :drinker:

I've worked quite hard to create the mindset that if I want a treat whatever the day I can have it very easily if it slips into my calorie goal. However, that obviously means less of the other food I would have had that day and it usually puts me off. I could have salmon and lots and lots of yummy roasted veggies or I…

If you're so overweight that it's really impacting on your health and life - you should do that because to get where you are you definitely indulged and need to understand the tiny bits of food and snacking throughout the day have added up for you in the past and resulted in your weight gain. If you're normal weight, heck…

I went to a restaurant with friends a few months ago and I got a vegetarian lasagne... Then we got a free 12" seafood pizza as they somehow messed up the order. Turns out none of my friends like seafood pizza so I had a large portion of the pizza on top of my main meal. I was picking and giving bits to my boyfriend, but…

I used to... And I developed a not so good relationship with food. It became the enemy when it in fact nourishes your body - it heals it and through food you can make it the best it can be! Now I eat cakes, pizzas, cheeeese as well as lots of fruit, veggies, fish, etc. As long as I'm still in a deficit and meet my calorie…

SW: 125 CW: 103 Didn't need to lose much so it took about 5 months, very gradual and I've been maintaining for over a year... very happily while still eating my fave foods and drinks :drinker:

I don't have a scale kept in my house (thank heavens, I can totally understand how people can get obsessed) so I just weigh myself at the gym whenever I have a 20p coin on me as it costs 20p a time. This usually works out about every 10 days to 2 weeks but I've gone months at a time. I'm at my goal weight now so it's…

Fab!! Well done, and the best attitude to have!!

Fabulous mindset, that's what it should all be about! :flowerforyou: No one should ever feel guilty for having some cake, a chocolate finger or ordering dessert at a family occassion. That's crazy! However..... You do have to have some willpower and determination to stick within some boundries - don't reach the 'stuffed'…

I'm the same. I'm only 20 but my face used to be a lot more filled out and I used to hate my young 'chipmunk cheeks' (I've not been overweight) but now I truly miss them at times! I suppose you just have to choose between health, better body/physique and coping with a slimmer face - or a podgy belly and rounder face!
