repetative dieting

Is there anyone who eats the same foods because you know these are safe foods to be eating while losing weight?

My basic diet is

Breakfast: cheerios with kiwi fruit and strawberries light milk

Lunch: I tend to skip

Dinner: stir fry with onion, carrot, broccoli, snow peas, capsicum with either chicken breast or steak and kidney

Dessert: A snack pack custard.

Does anyone else do this and never get sick of the same foods? What's yours?

I used to... And I developed a not so good relationship with food. It became the enemy when it in fact nourishes your body - it heals it and through food you can make it the best it can be! Now I eat cakes, pizzas, cheeeese as well as lots of fruit, veggies, fish, etc. As long as I'm still in a deficit and meet my calorie goal. Why do that when the world offers so much tastier food?! :drinker:

My dairy is full of repeat meals because A) I like them and B) I know their caloric worth off by heart.

I wouldn't call any of my foods "safe" I just know how to use portion control

No. Sticking to such a limited range of food items is likely to result in deficiencies of some micronutrients sooner or later. Your meal plan also looks very low in calories so you'll likely be deficient in macros too.

If you find you are unable to broaden your range of food because you do not consider them 'safe' to eat, then you should probably talk to a health professional.

I eat the same foods but not because I think those are safe. I do it because I don't want my food to go bad and have to toss my money into the garbage. Therefore, I will eat the food I prepare until it's all gone.
