Well, it does take a bit more time than usual, but not burdensomely (especially if you are shopping without kiddos!!!!! LOL). If you know the store's coupon policy (best to carry it with you in your coupon file) and you are using the coupons for the proper product/size/quantity, etc they should scan thru without problems.…

I have heard there are great deals to be had at the commisary... A Full Cup has a forum dedicated to Commisary deals... maybe you (and others) would find an interesting deal or two www.afullcup.com/forums/military-commissary/

Oh, and i should have mentioned that the $5 off $15 produce coupon was for Price Chopper (northeast).... If you are in the Northeast and have a Price Chopper in your area, you can get the coupon on their Facebook page (they issue new coupons every Sunday via Facebook)

nope, not at all  I'd love to start a little thread to post good HEALTHY coupon deals, but MFP frowns on links :(

I am not sure if this coupon is still available for printing (i already printed for a friend of mine) but here is $1.50 off clorox wipes which come out to just change after coupon: http:// [remove spaces] www.wickedcooldeals.com/2011/04/1-501-lysol-disinfecting-wipes-coupon.html

It can take a long time, especially if you get carried away with it. But learning the basics isn't that hard. If you use conventional health & beauty products i recommend following a blog that matches up Target, Rite Aid and/or CVS deals. Health and beauty are the easiest to get deals on, are easy to stockpile (long…

I am a big-time couponer as well, well no where near the "extreme" level, but i refuse to watch that show... for reasons already stated: buying way more than is needed, bending of store rules, using coupons illegally (yes, proven!), a lot of processed foods and chemical crap cleaners ICK. .... But, to be fair, MOST…

I got the guacamole at Price Chopper, but i have seen it for sale at WalMart as well -- its in the produce section. Usually near the baby carrots, dip, dressings, etc. I hope you can find it :) I didnt know if i would like guacamole. I have to admit it doesn't LOOK like something i'd want to eat hahaha... What i do is i…

you have all of May and all of June plus the approx. 2 weeks in April thats left... even if you meant the end of July, thats still more than 10lbs a month (40 lbs in 3.5 months) 10 pounds in a month would be do-able if you have a lot of weight to lose but if you only have that 40 to lose, you are not going to be able to…

 yes i am most certainly alive and hmm at the moment i am semi-hibernating (under a pile of blankets on the couch).. I do cardio work fairly regularly but not every day... but yes, in decent cardio shape but NOT an elite athlete! (if only!!). My heart rate used to be semi low (low 60s) but i sort of just tuned in to…

just bumping this thread so i can come back and read it later... My 6 1/2 yr old son has Aspergers, is a chronic stutterer, moves constantly, argues/is stubborn a lot but probably not to the extent that he would be diagnosed as ODD or ADHD, just offshoots of his Asperger's diagnosis i guess. He is extremely intelligent,…

how about, instead of picking a number of pounds to lose in a set number of weeks, you make a short-term goal similar to: being at/under your calorie goal for a solid week (2-weeks, 3-weeks, etc) staying under your sodium goal for a week, etc adjusting your eating patterns to hit your personal carb/protein/fat ratios…

#1 hobby is MFP of course lol Other than the obvious, I'm into couponing, organic veggie gardening, hiking, running, practicing yoga and chasing after my 2 boys (+ 1 husband LOL) :P

while steel cut and "regular" oatmeal is better for you than instant, i have to say the combination of Better Oats Lavish Dark Chocolate instant oatmeal and a 1/2 Tbsp of natural peanut butter is a verrrrry yummy breakfast or snack! ... I am going to have to go back thru all the responses to jot down all the fabulous…

building on what you already like: make a nice bed of baby spinach and romaine lettuce (your new veggie of the week), top it with (rinsed) 1/4 cup black beans, 1/4 cup corn, 1/4 cup salsa and a Morningstar Farms Spicy Black Bean Burger, cooked and chopped into a bunch of tiny pieces.... Feeling adventurous? Add a spoon of…

sorry, i didnt mean to imply that i was replying to you, the original poster,... i was trying to reply to MaryMary who was giving that advice... i will try to go back and edit that post for clarity. :flowerforyou:

Hi there MaryMary, not to be critical, but i've been trying to up my protein so i clicked over to check out your diary & percentage recommendations and i see a few problems: Even though your targets are set as you say, you are falling short of hitting those targets quite often (and many days are quite low in your net…

yes, it is possible to work out too much, but where that line is for you, i can not say.... But please know that REST and NUTRITION are the other spokes in the wheel, so be sure to keep those things in balance as well to lead a healthy life :) ... Maybe if you want to add some other activity to your Shred routine you can…

wow, great transformation! My belly is still my problem spot... Thanks for restoring my hope that it CAN look better in time! :)

if you have a stubborn side to you (i sure do! LOL) put it to good use and refuse to settle for anything less than healthy. Be stubborn even thru your mistakes that you are not done, simply derailed, and that this is what you want. You will SETTLE. FOR. NO. LESS. Grab a good handful of MFP friends to keep you motivated.…

Please don't confuse a HRM (heart rate monitor) with a pedometer :ohwell: They are two different things

i love the Clif bars and, if i were more disciplined, i would cut them in half and just eat half. They aren't super high on protein though. They fill the desire for a cookie though! :P A much healthier alternative!! I just tried my first Clif Mojo Peanut Butter Pretzel bar and yummmmm will be buying more of those! Pure…

My husband's family lives overseas so we only see them once every other year or so (i know several of you are thinking i am lucky right now, lol!).... The 3 times i've seen them in person i've been a new mommy, nursing and constantly worn down (on top of jet lag and culture shock). While i love and respect them, they don't…

i got my Nutiva cold-press extra virgin coconut oil from Amazon.com and i LOVE it. I use it on my hands sometimes and then i am like obsessed smelling them lol  Another great use for it is on the rare occasion that i eat pancakes i will use just a tiny bit on my old cast iron skillet to keep the pancakes from…
