I can't tell if this is a joke or not, but if not -- I think what people are trying to say is that you cannot physically do low-carb, low-protein, and low-fat and reach your caloric goal of 1900 (sorry if I got that wrong). I hit my low of 123 over the summer and then climbed back up to 128-130... recently got down to the 124-126 range... it's such a slow arduous process!

It sounds like you're pretty good at Intuitive Eating and since your goals are not specifically pertaining to weight loss, I'd say go for it! For someone still interested in losing weight, though, I think tracking your food or at least paying very close attention would speed the process along.

Green smoothies are awesome, though it sounds like you're already eating a lot of fruits and veggies so maybe the problem lies elsewhere (despite what your doctor advised)? Have you tried upping your fat intake? I know I lose more easily when eating less fruit and more healthy fats, like from avocados.

I think everyone's said it already, but personally I find it easier to stick to my calorie goal on a lower-carb, high-fat diet. When I eat more carbs I get hungry faster, and then I spend the whole day thinking about food. Everyone is different of course! Some people do much better just eating carbs. I think you need to…

I find that eating fewer carbs and more fats usually helps to curb my appetite. Also drinking coffee during the day. For some reason when I eat more carbs I get hungry much faster and it's the unbearable kind, whereas on a higher-fat diet I will still get hungry, but less frequently and urgently. Hope this helps!

Thanks for all the tips, everyone! Those who recommended Old Navy - actually the only pair of jeans I own that fit close to perfectly are from Old Navy two years ago, but I wasn't sure if they were still being manufactured. I'll try hitting up one of their stores again :happy:
