  • Best feeling!! Congrats!
  • Have you had your thyroid levels tested? I went through something similar only to find out I had a slightly underactive thyroid, which I was medicated for and I began to lose weight again- it wasn't rapid but within a few months and after building muscle to help my metabolism I got back to normal
  • WOW, Awesome, 60 pounds is a serious accomplishment, very inspirational- keep posting!
  • Day 4 was definitely the hardest for me during the first week- I think my muscles didn't want to move. Good luck with your journey!!

  • Doing the same, I had that freak out earlier this week!
  • Totally!! I have to eat them in secret or my husband thinks I am a crazy person! I also love marmite and cucumber sandwiches
  • So that's why my feet were going numb!!!!! I kept buying new shoes!
  • Since you lost all that weight before it is probably still water weight from PMS, I experince the same thing, but oddly I gain it for a week after PMS then it goes back down. I would say drink lots of water this week and stick at it, unless you went off your calories and program massively then it should come back off…
  • That looks delicious! I love the little bit of chocolate on its own plate!
  • My favourite is egg whites (3), with some smoked salmon and lemon, I try to keep my breakfast low calorie and high protein, it keeps me full and lets me save my calories for the rest of the day.
  • anyone? :)
  • That's awesome, I am a 16 now, can't wait to buy my first pair of size 10!
  • Pasta, I could live on pasta . . .and I successfully went to an Italian restaurant yesterday and had a salad instead!!! Potatoes roasted in goose fat . . . or oil, use to have it every sunday Juice
  • Good topic, I have a few of these. . . When I lost a bunch of weight before it drove me nuts when people would tell me I lost weight, not compliment me or ask if I have they would just say "hey you've lost weight" like it happened behind my back when I wasn't looking, I never know what to say back. Also when people start…
  • This is really tough! I use to be in the same boat, luckily I got the head chef on my side and he use to prepare me little healthy snacks before we opened so I had something like salad with some prawns or some grilled veggies waiting for me. I also kept granola bars high in fibre with me, they are quick, but you have to…
  • I don't think this is particularly motivating or helpful, more hurtful!!I hope it is meant to be sarcastic. It's tough when your family is in a routine that doesn't work with your fitness goals, but in no way does that mean they are evil or anything. It is tough, I deal with a similar thing with my family, I explained how…
  • Love it . . good motivation!
  • If I want to cheat and have something I tell myself if I still want it in 48 hours I can have it and I usually get over the craving
  • Wow, I am so sorry you are going through this and you should be so super proud of yourself for the weight loss, it takes so much work!!! You are still the same person but in a different shape and if he is holding on to a memory of you to frame your relationship and he doesn't want you to lose weight and be healthy then,…
  • Elliptical, on resistance 3-5 tends to burn 100-110 calories every 10 minutes, in 60 minutes I usually burn about 680 calories
  • i have a whole wheat english muffin with 2 egg whites, since I dont have time in the morning I make it the night before and microwave it when I get to work and I find this is one of the only breakfasts that keeps me full all the way through lunch, I don't even think about food until it is time for Lunch, it's great.
  • I have the same issue!!! I am under my goal today, but I have felt full all day after every mean, sticking to lean meat vegetables and fruit and unless I stuff myself with these things I just wont make it. I am 5'2 also and at 1200 calories a day
  • Some of these are real gems!! My grandmother always said standing up while eating makes your legs fat and my husband is convinced that adding water to orange juice has the same flushing, hydrating effect as just drinking just water . . .
  • Thanks for the advice everyone, good to know I am not the only one loving the weekend off of work but dreading trying to stick to the diet as my husband snacks on a lovely cheese bread roll next to me . . . isn't he evil? Thanks for all of the suggestions!
  • I think it depends on the person, I find that I am regularly under my 1200 calories, especially with exercise, but rarely hungry and I have a low thyroid, I find if I actually eat all 1200 calories then I just dont lose weight so It can fluctuate person to person. I am 5ft 1, and even under the 1200 calories I find I have…
  • I lost a bunch of weight before my wedding and worked really hard then as a reward after the wedding I let myself have whatever I wanted for a week and just never got back to it, about 20 lbs later I really regret not sticking to it so it is time for a change!
  • I broke up my daily allowance in to meals so if I go over for breakfast I know I need to cut down on lunch or dinner. Also creating meals in your food log is a great way to keep track and if I know I am going out to dinner during the week and there won't be a lot of low fat options I cut down during the week so I…
