Thanks for the sodium tip, I do try to get the most accurate food nutritional information but things like that i've missed make all the difference. Lunch salad is my own creation but yes…

I have some exercises I find easy and excel at mostly, suicide drills, 123 heisman, burpees push up jacks however there are some I hate and suck at like Knees up, the damn football drills (by the time he says set and sprint my body is always trying to catch up, how do they move so fast at this point in the workout) My goal…

From what I have read an in my own experience you need to be eating the right amount to get the last few pounds off. The right amount does not necessarily mean just eating less than you currently are you need to be TDEE -10% which takes very detailed and accurate logging. As well as maybe changing up your workout so you…

Cardio & Resitance for me tonight Looking forward to it as my Average HR is decreasing and im going just as hard if not harder than last week so I put that down to me getting fitter. Foam rolling is definitely helping as I don't feel that sore compared to last week. Looking forward to my fit test this coming Monday

Currently doing insanity as I want my abs to show aiming for 10 - 12% BF...

I should have done Pylo Cardio Circuit yesterday but got confused as it just said Cardio Circuit and I thought I was missing a DVD so i did the recovery only to find out it was Pylo I should be doing. Ahhh well I will be doing it tonight sweating hard and pushing to finish every exercise.

Thanks I shall start adding half an avocado to my lunch salads and possibly greek yoghurts as something sweet in the evening.

I am also looking for healthy ways to boost my calories, I have found drinking two protein shakes a day helps me with protein and calorie intake. I do want to increase the calories healthily and apart from nuts and peanut butter which I haven't incorporated yet I don't have an idea without including some bad choices.
-
Good stuff and well done I can't wait to finish! I am only at the start of week 2 an loved doing it in the sun today.

Should I trust my heart rate monitor during insanity workouts I'm getting 800 - 950 kcals burned with an average HR of 168 max HR of 188. Those numbers seen a little high? My recovery is very good although my body has a hard time keeping up with my fitness level and the determination from my brain!

Watched some motivational videos this morning to pump me up! I definitely pushed myself pylo cardio routine is hard though. That basketball circuit had me dripping with sweat unable to make it through the whole workout. I felt much better with the warm up to made it through quite easy today. Looking forward to the rest…

Did day 5 week 1 yesterday pure cardio, was a little frustrated that I didn't push myself harder. My average heart rate was still high but it didn't feel as if I pushed myself enough. I get annoyed with myself when doing high knees I always think my knees are not high enough! Well today is pylo to complete week 1.
-
Can't wait to reach maintenance, well done with your journey you look great and have really made a huge transition.
-
Ready for Day 5 week 1 here, soreness is mostly gone due to the cardio rest yesterday and drinking my protein shakes. Pure Cardio today and im buzzing because I know it will hurt but i'm determined to push. I try to keep up then tail off at my own pace.

Day 4 for me today and feeling the same, i thought I was reasonably fit as i was doing circuit training anyway but I am yet to complete a workout bar the fit test the whole way through without having to stop or not being able to do the full minute of the individual exercises. Muscles are aching a little especially the…

I'd do one or the other as to not overload muscles and get enough rest. Also to maximise the gains from each plan. I just started insanity and I plan to then do heavy lifting after for another 2 months then maybe try p90x.
-
yea first time round, fit test was cool. ready for tomorrow ;o)
-
Will be starting today this evening can't wait. Fit test looks pretty hardcore after a weeks rest i'm sure i'll feel it.
-
Good News! Finally some success, after 3 weeks of increasing my calories and also having last week to rest (no gym) the scale has finally responded. Almost 4lbs down from the last weight in, YES 3.9lbs. Obviously I will have to wait till next week to be sure its legit but im so happy after a good month of no movement…
-
I can't wait to start this next week... Hoping I can go all the way through without getting injured or not being able to complete the workouts. does anyone do anything additional to Insanity even if its light cardio or stretching yoga?? The reason i ask is I have a gym membership and canceling it is not really an option as…

Still no change in weight although last Tuesday when weighing on my regular machine it measured me as a lower bf% than last month. Feeling ill today so no training for the past 2 days. x2 more weeks till I expect some results need to be averaging my BMR and trying to fill the extra calories with chocolate and unhealthy…
