  • Thanks for all the amazing replies! I'm obviously still confused about some stuff but I'm gonna read some more articles and re educate myself. Thanks again :)
  • When I say exercising 3 times a week, thats when I do workouts, visits to the gym or on the wii fit. The rest of the time i'm walking a couple of miles a day.
  • I'm 5.7 and weigh 167 Ibs, using the tool on here it says: Your estimated BMR is: 1,520 calories/day*. I've been eating maintenance for 5 days now, before that it was 7 weeks of 1200 calories. Then for 3 weeks I was stuck on the weight I am now...well not including the 4ibs that might be water. I usually end up about…
  • Thanks for the advice guys, I did about three hours of walking today and I'll be doing two workouts tomorrow. I just need to make sure I don't weigh myself for a week at least to save myself this trauma in future lol. I understand that weight is not the only way of knowing if you've lost but when you gain 4Ibs in 2 days…
  • Ok thanks for the help guys

I had no idea about this, I just simply assumed that eating less is better, I understood not to eat too low etc but now I realise that my body has been working on -300 a day or around that which is probably something to do with my weight stopping still. It helped…
  • I'm in a similar position, I have been doing MFP for 6 weeks and have managed to lose 12ibs which is great but for the past 2 weeks I've been stuck on the same weight. I'm eating 1100-1200 calories a day and I try to eat the calories I have earned through exercise even though my mind tries to tell me not to. It just…
