I never count anything that is not water as water. With the exception of crystal light and other 0 calorie powdered drink packets. I definitely do not count sodas of any kind, coffee, tea, or even the Gatorade powder I use after a hard workout sometimes. To each's own I just think if it is not hydrating my body it doesn't…

Water weight...happens to me all the time. Just watch your sodium intake and drink plenty of water the next few days and you will see the scale go back down.

The summers are hot as hell and the winter weather is truly unpredictable. We never have just rain it is always a thunderstorm. Everything south of Dallas is ghetto or half way there (and I live south of Dallas :-/). Oh and it is not my wonderful homestate of California!

Perfectly ok. Avocado is high in good fat. It's excellent for your hair, skin, and nails because it contains essential oils. I think you will be fine.

Thunderbird wine...that *kitten* is cheap like 2 bucks a bottle and it sneaks up on you like a thief in the night. Hardly tastes like anything to me, but drink a 20 oz. bottle and before you know it you are stupid drunk. Worst and only vomitting I have ever done from drinking. Oh those college days!

Yes it is pretty normal. Sometimes when we have been a certain weight for so long we have a hard time accepting otherwise. I am sure other notice a clear difference. You just don't see it because frankly you see yourself everyday!

Doesn't matter. My mom's a manager at a real estate corporate office and has been for years. They don't look at that stuff. If anything the thing she always talks about is how a person is dressed, how their hair is styled, and even their body odor. Never...some damn nail polish...lol.

I totally agree. I am on 1200 and I eat a crap ton of protein. Keeps you full and satisfied and I certainly do not feel deprived. The exercise you do matters as well because the more intense something is the more cals you get back. I usually net 1200 but eat anywhere from 1300-1500 calories daily because I love kickboxing…

Just pay them no nevermind. I was like that at 18 too. I called everybody old. Your perspective on things is just distorted at that age I've decided. I am 25 now and see things a lot clearer. 40 really is the new 20! I personally can't wait to turn 30 because maybe by then I will be "smart".

Gin and tonic is one of the lowest, but if you are looking for something that actually tastes good I would go with any type of calorie free chaser (i.e. coke zero, diet dr. pepper, sprite zero, etc.) and vodka, clear rum, or gin. Stay away from beer and if you have to drink wine go for something red.

I never trust the treadmill unless it is the kind that lets you enter your height and weight before starting your session. Otherwise the machine is not intuitive enough to tell you an accurate calorie burn. MFP at least already has your stats and is basing your burn on that. Not totally accurate but nothing is. I have definitely had this problem and not to be gross but mine was gas. You may want to try and gentle laxative, prune juice, or anything that may get things moving. Hope this helps. :-)

I had oatmeal this morning. Love that stuff! I eat mine with warm milk or half & half. I have since I was a kid. Can't do water...just doesn't taste the same!

Definitely agree with this. I am only 25 but I have seen my metabolism slow down drastically and I know the closer I get to 30 the better quality of food I am going to have to eat in order to stay healthy. I have a HealthOMeter digital scale and I love it. I got it at Wal*Mart. My mother in law has one too and it works great!
