Yea my husband had a laminectomy two years ago and it hasn't improved anything, he's been getting worse. He was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease, but I think it's probably laminectomy syndrome too because he has some scar tissue build up from his prior surgery.

It definitely looks like I have runner's knee! I think I will take up bike riding and lifting to strengthen my quads and go back to running less.

So the scale hasn't budged in the last week.... BUT!!!!!!..... My shirt that I put on for work this morning was WAY too big... I had joined a 30DS group that was starting today and gave it a go this morning. It did NOT go well. Instead I did a Dance off the Inches video from beginning to end (45min). I had never been able to do the whole thing before so I'm pumped!! My plan is to do the video Sun Tues & Thurs and to run a mile (or more :) on M W F.

That is so awesome!! Congrats!!! I'm really not disciplined enough to do the actual C25K so I'm doing it the "lazy" way with my app called Podrunner which sets the C25K idea to music... I love it!

I logged my food completely yesterday and clicked on that finished logging for today button for the first time in a long time yesterday. Here's to doing it again today! Ran a mile yesterday and walked for the rest of my half hour exercise session Drank all my water Didn't hop on the scale yesterday or this morning! :)

Great!! Thanks for joining me!! I'm going to put a sticky note on my scale when I get home from work today because I almost hopped on this morning without thinking! I just want to give myself a week to concentrate on getting a healthier body rather than seeing that needle move.
