You could just be pre-diabetic so that's why he looks at you strange.

From when I worked at the hospital I learned that most people start to experience a tingling sensation or numbness of the feet. A friend of mine went partially blind in one eye.

You should really give P90X or Power90 a try. It as worked wonders for me and I highly recommend them. I've lost over 30lbs in just over 90 days.

One is an estimate that the other is calories actually burned. It varies from person to person depending on age, weight and level of intensity.

Sodium retains water that's why some people are on diuretics for BP medicine.
-
From the many different credible sources it takes about three days for your body to go into starvation mode.
-
What are they? How do they work?
-
The sodium is mostly in the cheese and condiments.

The article is merely providing a viewpoint. Good Luck!

I wish I could get mine that low. I try to stay under 1300 to control my blood pressure without meds.

View working out just as important as brushing your teeth.
-
They are both good routines but the P90X is extreme so if you really want to push yourself over your limit, then P90X is a better option. Good luck!

If your body is not used the movements, you will develop more lactic acid in your muscles it will wane after about a week or two. When are you weighing yourself?
-
Starving yourself is not impossible it's insane.
-
Agreed. 20 lbs in a month is too extreme.
-
Try the P90X and Insanity Hybrid.

Fruit and eggs whites and whole wheat toast with sugar free jam.

Weigh yourself the same time everyday is the best answer. Also, we tend to get heavier as the day progresses due to our diets and the water retention from those diets. I know that I have lost weight when I get down a certain wait in the morning and my body weight does not go beyond the last lowest weight that I weighed in…

Are you talking about "calorie cycling" or cycling the exercise? Body-builders calorie cycle all the time to drop body fat before a competition. Depending on how extreme you are, you can lose a lot of weight in not time, but most doctors recommend losing no more than 2 lbs a week. I do a form of calorie cycling called the…

I know what you mean. It's crazy!

The word is commonly used in body-building circles to describe a person who is big but do not realize it and are always fighting for gains.

Try eating more fiber densed foods that will make you feel fuller and take longer to burn than refined carbohydrates. If you are hungry at night, eat something low calorie such as a piece of fruit or popcorn.

In my opinion the best way it to allow you elbow to heal first and stay away from exercises that will impact the ebows. I had to learn that when I developed bursitis in both shoulders. I had to avoid the bench press for about a month.

Recalculate your BMR/RMR and stay 15-20% below that in calories. When you lose weight and become more active, you BMR/RMR will adjust or adapt to the weight and workload so you need to tweak it a little.

Add more fiber to your diet, that will keep you feeling satisfied longer. Also, caffine tends to curb hunger too.
-
The muscle is there you need to have at least 8% bodyfat for you abs to really show.

I really depends on how intensed you are working out alone. With a personal trainer or partner, they will push you to you limits and keep you challenged. I carry a gymboss which is a timer to keep my intensity levels high for 60 minutes. I don't allow people to talk to me while I am on a timer.

It's a slippery slope in that you may take in less calories then you burn, but you also need to watch out for excess sodium which can impact your internal organs. I try to steer clear of excess sodium for that reason. Also, excess sodium can hurt your weight gain because it can cause you to retain water.

Your best bet is to only eat fresh and whole foods. Processed and canned foods are loaded with soduim.
