Hello all, I have a rusty, saddle wobbling mountain bike with full mountain bike tyres but I am still commuting to work by road 3 days a week on it. Averaging about 3.2 miles (5.14km) each way. To work is all downhill and back home is uphill. So far since choosing the bike to get to work I have done 19.50 miles (31.38kms)…

Ooops I had a chinese with friends in Chinatown last night, curse those vodkas as if I wasn't tipsy I'd have said no to the chinese. Must work harder at the gym this week to recover. That's been the only bad mark since I started this last week.

I may well try the vodka water & lime. Sounds refreshing unlike vodka and diet coke which I had 3 of today and tasted nasty. Flat, watery syrupy and with the taste of cheapo Smirnoff vodka. Best find me a pub tomorrow in London that sells GOOD vodka.

I'm not using this one as an official weigh in as I only weighed my self for 1st time last Thursday but today it said I had lost 1kg. So don't know if that is a water retention thing or just cos I was running on empty after the gym. Either way a good first few days.

I had just 2 pieces of toast and low fat marg. had a cup of tea too. Went to gym and felt surprisingly energetic. Now having a tasty protein fuelled lunch - wholewheat pasta, tuna chunks and some salad. mmmmmm well earned I'd say.

yup, you missed the bacon roll too. I do like vegetarian meals though, nom nom nom tasty but I do love a piece of tasty meat too.

Hey team, am I too late to join in the month. Only 12 days in so should be alright. I am from Purley in Surrey and am aiming to lose 5kg a month but I think that might be a bit too over optimistic but am trying my hardest. Cycling to work 3 times a week and gym 3 times a week. Trying to keep a track of my food intake too.…
