I had to be rude the other day when someone dropped 3 dozen donuts on my desk at work. I don't care. I'm going to echo other suggestions for eating a small portion or bringing something healthy (and still delicious) along to share. People generally love it.

Depends on where your shopping and what you're buying. I try my best to compile budget savvy recipes as well as buying in season produce to keep numbers lower. I also shop at Aldi for most items and Giant Eagle for anything they don't happen to have. When I was living by myself, for 1 week (5 or 6 days for most recipes),…

Oatmeal for the win! :) The great thing about it is you can add in whatever you want, and just cook it with water if you can't do milk.

hot sauce.

I'm really sorry that this happened to you and I understand all to well how you are feeling. But rest assured that there is NOTHING wrong with you and lots wrong with that lousy excuse for a husband. His actions are his problem and are a reflection of his issues. You deserve to feel beautiful, because you are.

I pre-log all the time, it helps. Especially helpful tool when meal prepping; I log my plan for breakfast lunch and snacks and see where that puts me in calories and macros. It's a very useful tool.
-
I would still log daily. If you don't, you could easily end up overeating and gaining even if you think you are still making health conscious decisions. Just switch your calories to maintenance for a while.
-
Nope, just always striving to be more fit.

https://www.pinterest.com/pin/1618549841215020/ Some fruits have higher sugar content than others. This chart is just one example that shows the differences high to low. If you are worried about it, try choosing fruits on the lower end. If you are still within your calorie goals then I don't think you should worry about it.

She means 1200 daily calorie goal.

non dairy sugar free powdered creamer does the trick.

Considering your other thread where you said you had consumed 600 calories in meal replacement shakes and 1400 calories left for the day, I'd venture to guess that not eating enough may be linked to your headaches. The lack of caffeine may also be a factor, or dehydration.

This gets my vote!

Bring your own snack. If you like popcorn, maybe try Popcorn Indiana cinnamon sugar popcorn; its 130 calories for 2 cups. Great sweet movie snack for the caloric "price" :)

When I started logging and tracking my intake, these things really surprised me as well; not only as to content like sodium and sugar in food but just how many calories I was actually eating on average days. So yes, I understand. What people are going to reply saying is that unless you have a medical reason to track/lower…

search them in cardio exercises. The calorie counts are estimates at best and often too high and misleading. If you would like a more accurate depiction of calories burned then you may want to look into a heart rate monitor of some sort.

Best ever: Quest anything (my fave is cookies and cream) Worst thing ever: I ate an atkins meal replacement bar once (probably not technically a protein bar but still) which was fine at first but I tasted it for hours afterwards, and it was utterly disgusting. Now I wanna try Robert Irvines bars, I've never seen them…

Your family is being really disrespectful and rude. It makes me sad that they are taking away your pride and determination towards your goals. I hope that you can try not to listen to them, because at the end of the day, all that matters is how you feel about yourself. Don't let them bring you down!

I sing to myself all the time, at work, at the gym, walking down the street. I give zero f***s. If you gotta do something to entertain your self then do it!

Just keep being supportive is all you can do. My bf recently started lifting to get in better shape and complains consistently about his weight, which makes me feel terrible. I tell him over and over he has to change his eating habits or he won't get results, period. He will go through spurts of healthy eating which are,…

Lift weights Eat well. "abs are made in the kitchen" is so true.

I do, but I think its largely a matter of personal preference. I am fortunate enough to have a job where this is a possibility for me. Does it take time? Yes it does. I spend a few hours on weekends cooking, washing, chopping, and portioning out my breakfast, lunch, and two snacks for each day. The reason I do is #1 to…

I try to just go to bed hungry if its late, but if I MUST, sugar free jello pudding cups or a low fat string cheese are good low cal options.

This may or may not be what you're talking about, but I think that maybe my body has what I refer to as a "happy weight". I have been consistently working out and eating well for a few years now, and the lowest I have been able to maintain consistently, and where I am now, is about 121 pounds (aka happy weight). That puts…

Quest Bars are fantastic.
