  • Go to a shoe place and talk to someone there. If they are for running, go to a running store. They can evaluate you feet and recommend best shoe. What works for one oerson might not be best for another. Thats why there are so many varieties.

  • Bowflex treadclimber. Combines benefits of elleiptical and treadmill. LOVE IT! I can find workouts to do without weights to build strength, but can not always hit the streets for cardio.
  • We got a water treatment system. Saves the appliances and the water tastes great.
  • Camelbak is where its at. I jave had several over the years. I love them. They are literally a life saver sometimes. Their motto is Hydrate or Die.
  • Lets just say I have some of these on VHS! Done off and on for years. I really like and have been thinking of breaking them out again when I need an at home workout.
  • Why do I have no idea what y'all are talking about. I am an avid vewier of the feamle form and I am lost.

  • I go with anything that is seasonally appropriate, being a guy I think function of style.. I have a lot of stuff from Target. Some Wal-Mart, and even a few Underarmor. I like the skin tight compression shirts, long or short sleeve, depending on season with a t shirt over that. In cooler weather it is any kind of hoodie. On…
  • I am at the gym by 0500 so I do it on an empty stomach. If I do something later in the day, I try to make sure it has been a while since I ate. I get sick to my stomach if I workout with food in the belly!
  • Could it be that people who get drunk are more likely to get inked?
  • They may have repealed DADT, but....LOL!!! Thanks for the positive motion, and prayers.

  • I became a morning person about 20 years ago when I went to Ft Benning for Basic Training. I still am! I get up at 345, am at work before 0500 (where I work out) and workout until about 0745. For the last few months I had a mandatory workout at 0550, but I dont have theat anymore, but will still go in early. I will…
  • Thank you! I have learned much along the way!
  • I am in the gym before 0500 M-F and I dont eat. I dont drink much either. Right now I do about 2.5 hours of either all cardio or cardio and a core/total body workout which is done at a pace to be a cardio workout. My gym is in the building where I work. I shower and drink a powerade zero or two as soon as I get to my desk.…
  • The one I am considering is a 40lb vest. IT has 40 individual pockets with one pound weights. I am not too worried about the weight, I have humped a much heavier ruck as an infantry Solider. I plan on building up. and the max is only about what I weighed when I started.
  • Thanks! I am Army too. Hurt my ankle and dont run anymore. Thanks for the input.
  • Bump
  • I dont run anymore due to an ankle injury. I do appreciate the input. I was looking at getting a 40 lb vest to move back toward where I was when I started this adventure and everything seemed to be so much harder. I am trying to decide if I go with the $80 vest a guy at work has from Wal-Mart that didnot lookmlike it…
  • My thought is I "know" I am burning more, so if I only logg the HRM number and eat based off that, then there are going to calories burned I did not log, so I did not eat back, therfore the weight should drop quicker. Thats my thought. I just hope to hear from so folks who have used one and can let me know if it is worth…
  • I am talking about aerobic activites such as hopping on the treadmill, walking, or even the works I do with a group a couple days a week which are about 50 minutes of exercises like they do on PX90, also Kettle bells, crazy ab workouts, bousu balls, etc. So it is both core and cardio. I am not really worried about the HRM…
  • I have a ruck for walking if I want, I am thinking more during other exercises. doing a pushing with an extra 40 lbs will work me harder than without is my theory. I am just wondering if any folks have used them. Are they comfortable, was there a noticeable calorie difference, etc.
