  • I get mine in the health food section of my grocery store in the grain aisle. I've also purchased it in bulk stores. I've never seen it at my local Wal-Mart .... but if they do carry it I think it would be in the section where the rices are.

  • I'm having salmon tonight too!! I like to put some olive oil in a dish and add some garlic, basil & oregano and mix it all together. Then spread it on the salmon and bake in the oven or on the grill.
  • I also suggest that you spread your calories over the entire day too. It looks like you're eating the bulk of your calories at supper time. Also, your foods are high in sodium which will make you retain water making it hard to lose weight and I know that you're not tracking sugar however based on the foods you're eating…
  • I like to bring last night's leftovers to work or I make big batches of soup and chili and freeze them to pack in my lunch.
  • I'm a snacker too!! When I feel like I'm hungry I'll drink some water or have a cup of tea and wait 30 minutes and if I'm still hungry I'll have a snack. • Bumping for later - all of these recipes sound awesome!!!
  • I usually work out in the morning as well and when I do I eat something small before working out and then I eat my full breakfast after I finish my workout. It's best to eat a little something before working out so that you give your body some fuel.
  • I haven't tried making these yet so I haven't plugged the ingredients into a recipe tracker yet. As soon as I make them I'll add them figure out the nutritional info. and add to the database.

  • I'm a huge fan of almond butter. I buy mine at the health food store. I like it on apples or wasa crisps. Be sure to check the best before date when you buy it because it doesn't have a very long shelf life and store it in the fridge. I also recommend storing it upside down because it makes it much easier to use because it…

  • I like to stuff with: (1) Sundried tomatoes and goat cheese, (2) Black olives and goat cheese or (3) Basil/tomato flavored feta cheese.
  • I think the key to working out is variety otherwise you get bored and your body will hit a plateau. I have a gym membership at Goodlife and I take advantage of their group classes - my favorites being RPM (spinning), Pump and Attack. For those that don't have a gym membership i strongly suggest buying/renting exercise…

  • What I find helps is to add in EVERYTHING I plan on eating for the day in the morning. That way I know how many calories are left over for the evening. It really helps me stay on track ... Regarding figuring out calories for recipes I suggest inputting them into a tracker so that you know how much each dish is. A god one…
  • I'm from Fredericton, NB. I've been a member for almost a year and I swear by this site. It's helped me reach my goal weight and maintain it :)
  • It needs to be stored in the fridge and typically last about 6 months after it's been opened. Just check the best before date on your bottle - it doesn't last as long as PB. I also suggest storing it upside down otherwise you'll need to stir each time you use it and could end up with a bunch of almond butter but no liquid.
