I'm in southern AZ and spend about $500 a month for 2 adults and a teenage daughter. I also have a college kid that comes home a couple times a month to grocery shop out of my cabinets and fridge. I'm waiting for the day he shows up with a grocery cart.

This happened when I started running too. The more I ran the less it happened and it has gotten so much better as I have lost weight. I always had better luck with morning runs, so go this weekend and run :)

My food/diet is always better when I plan and take a couple hours a week for prep. When I don't have a plan its easier for me to eat out and make bad choices. I usually reflect on my day at bedtime. I do a weekly boxing class with my son. I would agree your calories are too low. I know this process can be frustrating but happens when you give up? Are you going to start eating crap and let yourself go sort of speak? I agree, just make sure you are taking rest days when needed. Sometimes I do an hour bootcamp class in the morning and then a boxing class after work. If you feel up to it then do it. Listen to your body, it will usually tell you when its time for a rest.

I will be hiking Thursday morning and then cooking and eating the rest of the day. I plan to log my hike and that's all the logging I'm doing that day.

I hiked 5 miles last Thanksgiving morning and it was great. Plan to do the same this year. Turkey, pie and wine, oh my!

I feel your pain. I'm in the same situation with cupcakes. They are right outside my office!! I'm staying strong too. I'm thinking how good I will feel on the drive home knowing I didn't eat one.

This makes great motivation! I feel the same way. I was in a triathlon a couple weeks ago and they put our ages on the back of our legs with permanent marker. I hated getting passed by those 10-15 years older. Definitely made me work harder.
