Egg yolks are the best. I can't do just the whites (bleh).

3 meals, and post workout snacks if warranted.

You have one amazing, wonderful thing that makes the effort so worth it: YOU. You are worth the effort, you deserve a better you. Love yourself, take care of you, and happiness will follow. It doesn't matter who or what you have cause this? This is the one thing I do for myself. The biggest thing here is that it's not a…

Wow! Absolutely amazing! You look so much younger and happier! Congrats for sticking with it!

Vancouver Island! Ahh the Canadian tropics, the little city at the bottom of the island where we almost never get snow. We got 2cm in spring 2014, none since.

My A-ha moment was when I decided I wasn't dieting. I still eat whatever I want, I just fit it into my calories allowance. I had tried before, restricting myself from many things, but I like carbs, I like ice cream, I like lattes, I like food. I eat it, just less of it. I try to eat less processed foods, not for weight…

My little guy is 4 months old. It's estimated that your body burns 650 ish calories a day while breastfeeding, and it is recommended to consume 500 of those calories on top of your reccomended to maintain supply. I am losing on 2000 calories a day.

I love veggies. I had to love then as a kid. My mother is italian and we lived off homemade bread and pasta. I hated pasta. I refused to eat it so my option was whatever veggie we had as a side, which I hated less than pasta. They grew on me. I will eat any veg besides okra and Brussels sprouts (my sister had me convinced…

I usually drink cow milk but I do have almond milk sometimes if I am short on calories. Every milk has a different profile, I like to stick with cow's milk for the protein.

Boneless skinless chicken breast with red beans in a mango coconut sauce over rice.

I am losing on 2000, mind you I am nursing a baby. Regularly I lose on 1600.
-
Definitely a difference. You are doing great!

When I am at my goal (145 at 5'7"), my family & friends tell me I'm too thin. I have more of an athletic build and at 140 I agreed that I looked sick. My sister is the same height but looks amazing at 125-130. People are built differently so goals do vary. I personally have no interest in being a stick person.

I made smaller goals. 5 pound increments. You can do 5 pounds, right? Sure you can! With that mindset I lost 85 pounds.

Hi! I have a 10 year old, 7 year old and 4 month old. I lost 85 a few years ago, then I let things slide, then I had another baby. Now I have about 45 to lose again. I've lost 20ish (i also stopped looking at the scale at 215) since the little guy was born. Feel free to add me :)

If you are nursing full time it takes about 650 calories a day, and it is recommended to eat 500 above your regular calorie allowance. I am losing on 2000 calories nursing my 4 month old.

My little guy(my 3rd) is 4 months old, ebf. I lost 85 here a few years back, was not very good at keeping it off, now I have about 45 to lose again. I am losing steadily on 2000 calories, I try to walk 10000 steps a day and I just did my 1st post-pregnancy weightlifting session tonight! It feels good to be back :)

I measure it before I toss it. It's not an exact science, but better than guesstimating.

The only thing it will cleanse or detox is your wallet. It's a diuretic. You'll shed a few pounds by peeing too much and dehydrate, then gain it back by drinking liquids like your body needs. Tea is calorie - free or nearly so, any tea gives you the advantage of not adding to your calorie load, beyond that it does not aid…

I haven't tried them yet, but I do enjoy the spiced v8 quite regularly.

I have about 50 to lose (half of it is baby weight), my little guy is 4 months old. I lost 85 here a few years back, then I regained some and had a baby. I am breastfeeding and losing nicely at 2000 calories. Babies eat about the same amount from 1-6 months, which takes about 650 calories from you, so it's recommended to…

Espresso with steamed milk. Every morning. No weird substitutions for good food. I don't give anything up, if I want something I will fit it into my calories. I do try to limit the amount of processed foods though. What won't I eat? Haggis. Liver. Brussels sprouts. Because they're gross.

Better sleep. More energy. Less pain. Noticeable weight loss. Most of it after 2-3 months.

I would double cgeck with your doctor or midwife, mine told me to add 300 for second and third trimester and nothing for first.

I lost 85 after my older boy, now I have a 4 month old and about 50 to lose again. Right now I am just tracking what I eat and doing some light exercise, working back up to what I was doing before. Feel free to add me.

Love me some Lady Grey with a splash of milk, or white tea with peach. For green tea I just add a splash of lemon juice.

Logging. Measuring portions. Exercise. Consistency.

It certainly does. My husband is a stick person (he's gained 20 pounds in 15 years, is now a whopping 135). I have been 20 pounds less than when we met, I have been 50 pounds more than when we met. He is very supportive either way and will exercise with me, but he doesn't adjust his eating habits much, he's just not good…
