I wore shorts in public for the first time that I can remember. And i didn't care. And it felt good. Took me 29 years to learn to love my body, no matter the shape or size. I have had body image issues since I was very young. As a young teen I was very angry. I carved a word into my lower leg, and 15 years later the scars…

I used to make mashed potato volcanoes with gravy lava, and sacrifice the pea people to the volcano gods. I would also name cuts of beef before they were cooked (Betty Beef, Robert Roast, Sam the Striploin).

I'm 5'7" with a goal of 145-150. I have been there before and loved it, anything less and i look like a skeleton with boobs. If i don't quite make it there i am ok with that as long as I look and feel the way I want to. Last time i hit goal I stopped logging and went back to old habits and gained a bunch back. Toss a…

I have lost 29 pounds since the new year eating my TDEE, 45 since my baby was born (back to pre-pregnancy weight). I get a good amount of calories, i do exercise but don't usually eat all my exercise calories. I still have about 20 to go but i am pretty happy with how I am looking now, I can see such a difference. I do…

I didn't notice any discernible difference when I did it. I also yelled profanitites at her, and her voice grates on my nerves. It might help with fat loss but i highly doubt you'd be building any muscle.

Beer. Proud of that cause after my 'behaviourally challenged' child threw a spaz in the grocery store, i hid in the bathroom and had a refreshing beer instead of selling him to the circus.

To get to 65 pounds lost by end of May (currently at 61 lost)

I started out walking for the first 5ish months, then added in weight lifting around 6 months. He's 8 months now and i've lost 45 pounds and many inches and am back in my pre-pregnancy clothes, though i do want to lose about 20 more. In the past month the inches started coming off a lot faster and though the scale movement…

If it fits in your calories and you also eat food , you'll be fine. If your goal is 1600 and you consume 1600 in beer plus some vodka gummy bears, you won't be fine. Life lessons.

You look slimmer overall, but a month is not a lot of time. Keep at it for 3 months, then 6, then 9, you see where i'm going. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

Amazing!

My tops are lady gray (twinings), bengal spice (celestial seasonings) and ginger green (tazo). I really love a good chai as well.

It depends on the day. Some days I have none, some days i'll spend half my calories on them. Still within my goals, every day can't be perfect.

Do you have it set to lose 2 pounds/week? I made that mistake too. Having an aggressive goal like that will ultimately fail because it's so very hard to maintain and you're likely to give up. Wouldn't you rather eat a bit more and be able to lose happily? 1 pound a week is still 4/5 pounds a month, which is 48/60 pounds a…

I have only been lifting seriously for about 2 months, and not yet 'heavy' (i'm at 50 pounds for deads/bench press/squats), but there is a noticeable difference. I've lost about 15 pounds in that time frame and several inches. I am about 25 away from my lowest weight with only cardio, i was a size 8 at that weight. I am…

No problem. I worry a lot about what we put into our bodies as well, near everything seems to have some sort of issue, but we have to eat something.

Latte and what was supposed to be oatmeal. I was busy and accidentally put the oats in before the water boiled, so instead i had a bowl full of mush. At least the coffee was good.

Homemade cinnamon bun and some tea. Maybe a banana too. It's saturday.

All these things have a negligible effect on metabolism. They won't do much besides make your food tasty. I would definetly advocate for using them cause bland food sucks, but don't expect miracles.

It contains phytoestrogens, which are quite similar. The act similar to estrogen but they are NOT actual estrogen. They can alter your body's estrogen production, causing production of less active estrogens, which may prevent estrogen-receptive cancers (ovarian, cervical, breast) in post-menopausal women. Studies are still…

A calorie deficit works the best. It's free, easy to use, and it won't give you the runs.

You can do it! I've gone from 104.5 to 77 kg. You just need to stick with it and don't let little setbacks discourage you.
