Brussels sprouts. They remind me of mouse brains. Called them that all my life. No no no.
-
Why?
-
Nope. Eat when you're hungry, mind your macros and you'll be fine. I'm about to have my first meal at 1:30pm.

Tastes like *kitten* no matter which way you spin it, but most days I cannot reach my protein goal without it. It's a means to an end, if you don't want/need to take it, don't.

I don't track my sugar at all as it has no bearing on my weight loss. Naturally occurring sugars really shouldn't count against you, I'd be more concerned about processed and refined sugars, if I tracked them at all.

Try grilling orange or yellow ones with a little butter and garlic powder, the grilling really makes the sweetness come out. This is the only way my 8 year old will eat them.

These are some of my favourite things. I don't usually eat pyjamas thought, that's just wrong.

If I have to work with a bunch of overgrown children, I want to fingerpaint and nap too.

Yup, cause then I can see if anything needs to be adjusting. I am focusing on protein intake and experimenting with different foods to see what works best, and I can't have an accurate record if I'm not honest. I don't log tea because I don't add anything, I do log coffee even if it's black, it's hardly worth it for 5 cals…

Maybe it's just me, or just a girl thing but band aids didn't do it for me. The bandaid took a bunch of skin when I removed it. Ouch ouch ouch. Look into the anti chafing gel.

My butt and thighs are looking better. I am currently squatting 40 pounds, my thighs and rear are noticeably firmer and soon they will be in a shape I am proud to show off. My tummy has also shrunk quite a bit.

Eggs, chicken, fish, steak, Greek yogurt, whatever fruit and veg you like, the only must for me is bananas and the others vary.
-
Looking great! I love the yellow dress, but I do agree with your mom. when it's done up it hugs your curves more and looks a lot more flattering.
-
I have a serving of Greek yogurt (plain or nearly any fruit flavour will do), and mix in 1/2 serving of vanilla cupcake flavour goldfish crackers. Delicious.

Eat less, move more. Simple. As for lifting, it!0's important for maintaining LBM. Use it or lose it.
-
Everything from your hate list I dislike except zucchini. Everything else I love.

I am a bit shy and have never felt comfortable at a gym or class, so I am steadily building a supply of my own equipment and working at home. I am having much more success with just my family being around.

Strength training has helped with inches far more than cardio for me. I'm lifting 15 pounds each for dumbells and a barbell with 30 pounds on it (not sure how much the bar itself weighs), I'm working my way up there but even what I'm doing now is helping tremendously.
-
Lifting. It's by far the best decision I've ever made. Highly recommend it.

We teach our kids about portions and healthy eating, and why things are good or bad for you. The 8 year old is good about reading ingredients on prepackaged things, and will pick out the fruit snacks that are actually made of fruit instead of sugar and artificial goop, and also reading portion sizes and getting correct…

Keep trying. I promise you it is worth the effort. I know it gets frustrating, but nobody loses every week. Also, I strongly encourage you to look here http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/912920-in-place-of-a-road-map-3-2013?hl=In+place+of+a+road+map+3 This guy really knows what's up, and many people here have found…

Me. I tend to not feel intoxicated at all until I black out. Not something I aspire to, being that I have self respect. I come from a family where alcoholism runs rampant and I'd rather not go there. If and when I do I have my husband to babysit me because I am aware of my lack of self-control in this department.

I have a friend named Adawn, and she is friends with a girl called Spirit. Not funny, just unusual.

'Today you are you, who is truer than true, there is no one alive that is youer than you.' Do you know who said that? Dr. Seuss. Be the best person than you can be, try your hardest, and nobody else matters because they have never been you and won't ever be. Nobody else has to fight your battles or climb your mountains. I…

Try and try again until you have a taste for it. I loathed tomato, broccoli, cauliflower, mushroom and bell pepper as a child. Now all of these things are eaten almost daily, I can't get enough. If you think of your food in terms of health and nutritional benefits rather than yumminess, the good for you fruits and veg…

I weigh it raw after I trim it to my liking, this seems to be the most accurate.

I own a brownie (Canadian junior girl guide), so the demon cookies are unescapable.

Cleanses are great if your wallet is overstuffed. Beyond that, I highly recommend regular use of your liver and kidneys, they cleanse your body better than any food/drink/ 'magic' crap you could put in it.
-
Eating too much and sitting on my *kitten* did it for me.

There is no cheat. It's ridiculous and unrealistic to cut anything out that you are not willing to cut for life. I indulge daily. I had a wagon wheel yesterday, but just one instead of half the box. I am concentrating on cutting body fat more so than losing pounds. I cut 5% in just over a month, and I gave up nothing.
