HERE I AM TO SAVE THE DAY!!!!
-
This is funny, late last night I was watching this thread begin and now it's folded over. HILARIOUS!!!

I recently kicked a soda habit and since I'm a full time college kid (I dont really consider it "full time" 15 units twice a week lol) I am a slave to coffee because of the comfort it gives me. I recently started drinking green tea. But the only time I EVER drink diet coke (or any diet soda) is with my captain morgan lol I…

I think nutella is amazing but I don't get why I would want to eat it on a diet? It's so high calorie I could have a giant protein smoothie for the same amount of calories and end up more full. Is there something I'm missing?

Some days I will have some for breakfast or some for lunch. But I try to make it right after my workout as much as possible. I use Body Fortress Vanilla and I LOOOOVE it! Tastes like ice cream. I recently bought chocolate of a different brand (Jillian Michaels) to try because it was a bit cheaper and there was less of it…

Hey Lisa! I hope you find someone out there, I'm in Vaca or I would TOTALLY go with you!

Personally, my 4 year relationship has been dreadfully bumpy to begin with. Recently (since maybe last September) I started noticing that my boyfriend brings home tons of chocolates and sweets (I am a sweet-*kitten*). Over the last year I've gained about 30lbs (140 to 170) I always fluctuated about 140-150 but then I…

Mixing it up is good too. I always write my swim schedule on a sticky note then stick it on the side of the pool. Usually it goes something like this: 150 free (the pool I swim at is 25 length so I do 6 laps of freestyle) 150 free kick (I get a kick board and I'll do 6 laps of just kicking) 200 free pull (I just a pull…

I'm currently 164lb so 140 would be pleasant by May since that's when I'm graduating then 130 by the summer time.
-
I would be continuing to feel hopeless and eating my emotions rather than creating schemes and new foods to get the tastey treats that I want without the BS in them. (IE: going to 711 and buying 3 different Reese's peanut butter products instead of inventing my version of a Reese's protein shake, BTW, it was MIND BLOWING!)

I am a full timer (15 units) in my senior year. I only have class 2 times a week (Tues and Thurs) and I workout almost everyday. The last two weeks I've skipped Thursday because it's my long day and I don't get home until around 9:30pm and I'll skip another day if I feel like it (like today for example). I will usually…

ahem, triplets? lol

I try not to drink diet coke as much as possible but in the summer time a diet coke with lime is the only think that goes with my copious amount of captain morgan! lol Aspartame (in diet coke) has over 92 awful side effect including, but not limited to, blindness and brain lesions. http://youtu.be/OHD9Xqru3NY (PS: you…

I don't count my coffee with about a drop of skim milk in it. I don't count tea when I drink it (I don't use a sweetener or honey). I don't count crystal light in my water. I don't count gum/mints. Otherwise I count everything religiously.

Steel cut oats keep you more full than the ready make oatmeal. And if you put a napkin over your bowl it wont splatter in the microwave. Also, I eat a couple of different things, either an english muffin with one egg and a piece of turkey sausage, a smoothie (which you dislike lol), or steel cut oats with an egg on top.…

I think the fact that we're similar height worries him if I were to get his definition of "buff". Maybe he thinks I'd be able to whip his @$$. Which, when we were both skinnier we would wrestle all the time and I put up some pretty damn good fights IMO lol Anyway, all of this means a lot to me. I know what I want and now I…

Personally Madonna looks like a skeleton with muscles. I think her definition makes her look older than she is but that's what SHE wants so it doesn't matter. I just wish everyone could get to their end point without someone having to add their two cents but I guess...

I think it was more of a "women SHOULDN'T be buff. But its disappointing that when you tell someone you are looking to get "buff" the automatic image seems to be a body builder woman with huge pecs and quads. Thanks for the plank compliment lol. Crazy things happen when alcohol and a sombrero meet, hopefully this year I…
-
100%, but even if I desired to look like a body builder my boyfriend's only response should be "get it done!" because it isn't his body and I'm not looking for approval of men, I'm looking for self approval.

The GUYS (most girls do it while they do cardio) that sit on the weight machine that I plan on ripping on and TEXT THE ENTIRE TIME! Hello?!?! You do not get rep credit for texting your #$$!@%^ girlfriend! Get out of my way!
-
Thanks Jennifer. I figure that I was never the "hot" skinny girl in high school, but I could be the hot fit and healthy girl as I graduate college.
-
I am EXACTLY like that! My quads have already began to lean out (I can do leg presses forever) but I am trying to work my glutes, arms, and back more so they can get where I want to be. I already see the different in my arms as they are becoming more tone, I'm hoping the fact that I lift a lot will help me burn fat though.…
-
BTW grapenut SF, you have an AMAZING back and arms.
-
I actually read this earlier today! She's awesome! Sometimes I just want confirmation (regardless of which side of the fence a person is on) that indeed I am right to push forward and push myself to the limit. We only live once, right? Why not make it an amazing once?
-
I recently caved and took "before" pictures (cringe) so that I HAVE to take "after" pictures. And trust me when I say that I want the "after" to be something that I am PROUD to show everyone everywhere! lol
-
Thank you! That's what I think!
-
Mostly I just want to know (regardless of what your preference of body image is), is it wrong for me to want people to see my physique and be motivated by me? Is it wrong for me to want to be a normal girl but "buff" "toned" or whatever your definition might be?
-
I think it totally depends on the guy. Just like some girls wouldn't want to look like any of the pictures I posted.
-
but I supposed that's where I think it's unfair because my definition of "toned" is less than "buff" lol I know it's entirely subjective to what each individual decides of which meaning. I just think, is it wrong for me to want to push my body to see how far I can go with the amount of effort I'm willing to put in?
-
I guess I just mean that I'm not trying to eat hundreds of grams of protein and train for hours and hours. I do not wish to do laundry on my abs. I just want to be lean with a killer back and arms. I've been working on my pull-ups
