It's been so long since I even kissed a girl, I feel like my virgininty came back.

I like the title - a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Deciding to change your life after so many years is hard but rewarding, I did the same at the start of the year.

Can't get a very good pic as I can't use the flash and the shirt is dark:

nkyjennifer, the Nano was the one with the pedometer it broke due to getting sweat in after I clipped it to my shirt. I'm thinking of the Garmin Forerunner 110 GPS Watch with Heart Rate Monitor, reviews seem pretty good.

Well done, I lost 4 stone too, but still have more to go. After a lot of deliberation I entered a 10k on Monday. Doing it for charity but I've not told anyone yet. Are you doing any other races or is the half marathon your first?

Well done, is that on the treadmill or outside? After a lot of deliberation I entered a 10k on Monday, I can do 10k on the treadmill but it took me 71 minutes. Are you doing any other races or is the half marathon your first?

Great job. I started at 306 lbs too at the start of the year. Can I ask how tall you are? I can't work out if I'm halfway there yet.
-
285 lbs - 253 lbs = 32 lbs - 16.71 lbs of fat = 15.29 lbs of ?

Thanks guys. I may try to add some walking back in with the running, I used to walk 2 hours and today ran/jogged? 72 minutes at 5 mph. I'm a bit wary of overdoing it as I go to the gym every weekday and need to make sure I can do the same thing every day, I also walk to work as well and had a lot of problems with blisters…

I got a HRM. I have just done 14k on the treadmill 0 elevation (120 minutes) - 2122 calories. I'm tempted to put it back on when I walk to work to see how much I burn then.
-
Googled it and found the instructions, I was a bit nervous about buying as I couldn't find them when searching for Tesco HRM or One Body HRM: http://pulstechf11.blogspot.co.uk/

Weighed myself today and I've lost 7lbs in 2 weeks! Felt so good today, under 20st (280lbs) for the first time in years.
-
I only weigh every 2 weeks. Tomorrow is the big day and I'm really nervous, the last 2 times I've only lost 2lbs each time. I've been doing a lot more exercise since then and am hoping for nearer 4lbs.

Yes I feel great. I've added my start of the year weight in as well so I can see how much I've lost overall.
