Hi, my name is Cindy and I'm at goal. The had part is staying there. I don't like to exercise but I walk 4-5 miles a day and eat healthy 80% of the time. I've been logging for almost a year so I am quite proud of myself.

For me some days I eat less and then I'll make it up the next day. Some people are too anal. It is an average of calories in vs calories out. I would not eat just to meet my TDEE

It pisses me off that they keep improving the fitbit. I have a fitbit one which I love. Then I was lusting for the flex, now I want the force. I'll have to go check it out so I can fantasize about getitng one. I easily fo 10,000 steps a day and strive for 20,000+ on good days. Besides my dog, it's my bff

I lost weight by logging, walking at least one hour/day and 5:2 fasting got me over a plateau to my goal. I log every day and if I go over one day, I eat less the next day. It was hard at first but now it's a habit. I also found things to keep me busy so I don't watch as much TV as I used to

Start off with small realistic goals that you can stick with. Like make a goal to walk for 30 minutes a day 3 days a week. If you walk more thatn 3 days - great! I don't like exercising but found I love walking. Now I walk for an hour a day and feel crappy wen I can't walk. DO you have someone you can exercise with?

I do not eat to get to goal because sometimes I go over goal and other days I eat less. SO it all balances out.

If I were you I would find another doctor. He should have referred you to a dietitian instead of just giving you a pill. Did he ask about what you're eating? Are you getting enough sleep? Exercise? This DRUG will help with weight loss but unless you learn how to EAT LESS AND EXERCISE MORE you will just gain the weight back…

yes it is necessary, expecially for older women to preserve bone mass. You're still young, but as you age you lose muscle and bone mass (espeically white women) and your risk for opsteoposis increases! now go lift something!

I started at 24 and came down to 22. I think at my age a BMI of 21 would = brittle bones and people would think I had (whisper) cancer

Barbara, To prevent this fro happeneing again. Keep glucose tablets in your house and take 4-8 depending on your blood sugar. You can also use honey (one tablespoon =15 grams carb) or 8 ounces of skim milk if you don't have juice. I don't think people binge on honey and skim milk. Good luck to you and try to log…

I work in a hospital and get the flu shot every year. I had the flu one and never want to go throuigh that again.

the most vile things I put in a smoothie were collard greens (what was I thinking) and broccoli. My dogs enjoyed it though. I never tried swiss chard - I imagine it would be good as I like spinach and kale in smoothies.

My activity level is sedentary and I have a fit bit that I wear every day. Since it logs all my steps, it adds the "exercise" calories when I'm cooking, cleaning or walking as part of my daily activity. If you don't want to spend $100 (which I think is def wort every penny), increase your activity level
