raw onions, pickled herring, brussel sprouts (if you hate them, have you ever had them roasted?), coleslaw, mushrooms, kimchi, lima beans, olives.... I love most foods but there is one thing I hate - natto. It is femented soybeans and it is as if vomit and mold had a baby.

there is definately a gene that makes cilantro taste soapy to some people. I did 23 and me - DNA testing and they test for that gene. I do not have it and I love cilantro

Hi! I went on a 5 day bike tour from Key Largo to Key west. We did 50 miles a day and stayed in hotels. It cost $1000 for hotels which I split with my roommate. We had to carry our clothes and toiletries, but no tents, sleeping bags and all that stuff. It was a great experience and I want to do it again!

i usually eat protein and veggies on fast days, unless I am biking, then i eat more carbs. you really have to watch the portions to stay < 500 calories

Also, I do eat a lot 2000-2500 calories on feed days but it balances out in the end. That is the beauty of it.

I started 5:2 2 years ago and lost 30 lbs. Then I went down to 6:1 to mtn. I think that was a mistake for me anyway. Eventually I stopped all together and gained back 15 lbs. Don't worry about how much sugar you eat from fruit. It is healthy. I try to eat foods such as legumes, fruits, vegetables, whole grains and make sure i get enough protein, calcium and iron. I limit sweets and processed foods, but i do have a frozen meal for lunch if i don't have leftovers. I don't even look at sugar or…

Why don't you see a dietitian? Diets don't work for the long term. Even bariatric surgery doesn't work for everyone. Start exercising and eating fewer and healthy carbs, more vegetables and LEAN protein like skinless poultry and fish. Maybe you can have a cookie. But I know at this point in time, I can not eat a freaking cookie. I bought a box of 24 Belvita cookies at costco. They fooled me into thinking that they were healthy.
