My circle has definitely changed. Sitting around drinking and eating is not my thing anymore. Some friends understand however others want to see you fail. Those are the friends I no longer have...Ha Ha!

I've had back problems and understand the soreness. L4 and L5 disc have given me a heart ache. LOL! I stick with yoga, core exercises and use light weights. Hang in there and keep your core and legs strong.

I'm the only guy in my yoga class. It felt uncomfortable the first session however the ladies welcomed me and said that a man brings different energy to yoga practice (I'm not sure what that means, but I think it's good).

I understand you frustration. My own years of physical abuse have taken a toll on me, bad knees strained back, sciatica (this sucks) etc. I made a big change in the way I look at fitness. A friend recommended that I start doing yoga. I laughed. I'm not laughing now. After 2 years of yoga, I can run a 5K again without pain…

All I can say is that yoga changed my life. I needed to exercise differently so I started with DDP and think its great.

By doing yoga, I lost 43 lbs. gained muscles I thought I never had, relieved back pain and have a healthy perspective :)
