  • You're both right. I'm probably overdoing it even more than I think on the weekends (and not tracking EVERYTHING) and I'm probably also needing to weigh foods more consistently. I'm going to get stricter about measuring food... and I'll try to go with my "maintain" calorie range on the weekends and cut a deeper deficit on…
  • I'm in my 20s and my whole life I've struggled with my weight. Last year I lost 10 pounds for my wedding in October and within 2 months I gained it back. Since January, I've been dieting and exercising WAY MORE than I did last year and my measurements have stayed the same while my weight has continued to climb. I think…
  • The sample plan on the website looks very similar to how I already eat. Try to cut out sugars (low GI foods), eat small meals throughout the day, and drink plenty of water. I definitely want to jump start my diet, but I'm too cheap to buy any "diet" products. Good luck! I hope it works out for you.

  • What always gets my will power is the smell of something really dangerous (like wings or fries, etc.). A while ago I started bringing in healthy baked goods and snacks to share as a way to control the temptations at work. It's not really ideal if you don't like to bake/you don't have the inclination to feed your coworkers,…
  • Is it too late to join? I'll weigh in again tomorrow but my current weight is 142 and my goal is 130. I'm 5'7" and 29 years old. I switched to MFP from another tracking site in January but this is my first time exploring the message boards. I'm hoping having some motivation will help me break through this plateau!
  • Age: 29 Height: 5'7.5" SW: 170 (high weight... started MFP at 142) CW: 142 (stuck in plateau for 4 months!!!) GW: 130 Last October I was down to 133 and then I gained 10 pounds back over the winter. Who else is struggling to shed (and keep off) those last 10 pounds!
