  • I'd go with the salmon or veggie option only because I can't stand the taste of olives or arugula. I love olive oil but actual olives, no thank you. My husband, who likes both said he'd chose the prime rib since he only eats red meat on special occasions.
  • congratulations to you. Your journey and success are amazing and you are such an inspiration. Thank you so much for posting. I loved your story.
  • Fantastic work! I love the picture of you and your daughter in your old pants. That's really cute.
  • great job you two look great. I can really see the transformation in both of your faces :-)
  • ^^^that mine is shrinking but seems like it'll always be there.
  • That sounds AMAZING!!! My mom cooked everything to mush. Didn't matter what it was it had to be boiled for 30 minutes or it wasn't done. Ever been forced to eat sliced squash boiled for 30 minutes? No wonder I didn't like it. Now that I am out on my own and cook for myself I love squash, pumpkin, zucchini and all these…
  • mash some celeriac with some potatoes (skins on) My 10-month-old LOVES Parsnips. I usually cook them and mash them with potatoes to lessen the flavor for him. dice up some tomatoes and cucumbers and a red onion. Sprinkle with lemon juice and herbs de provence and if you have calories to spare add a tbsp of olive oil
  • ^^^^ this why did there have to be mention of buffalo wings. At least I can't get actual buffalo wings here. Their version of hot wings is a little cayenne pepper sprinkled on top. I just hope I can MAINTAIN my weigh the month I am back in the States. As for the actual topic of the thread. I have a relative, she tells me…
  • I ate at least 1 every day when I was training for a marathon. I love them. My son loves them. I keep them in the house all the time. For a great dessert freeze one blend it with a tablespoon of peanut butter and a little honey if you like it sweet (ate that a lot while I was pregnant) I understand people with certain…

  • Is that $50 a week part of a meal plan that you have to use on campus? Even so, when I was in college I went to the cafeteria, they had a fruit basket with over-priced oranges, bananas, apples, etc. I bought those. You could also get bagels and low-fat cream cheese at the cafeteria. My favorite was 2 scrambled eggs (you…
  • I would never go on a low carb diet. I'd quit by day 5 for sure. I love bread of all sorts, rice, fruit, etc. If I tried something like that I am sure a big plate of garlic bread would appear somewhere in my life, which I have no will power against. The south beach diet is eat like this for so many weeks, then eat like…
  • I'm an Aerospace Engineer. My job (before maternity leave) was designing electrical routing in a large aircraft. During the developmental stages they designed the structure and we route the cables around it. Then they built the first aircraft (test aircraft) they loaded the wings with fuel and the fuselage deformed around…
  • I don't care, but he only goes on stag nights (bachelor parties)
  • I have a family member like that. Glad you have such a supportive husband. First check your privacy settings. I think there is a way that people can't tag you, or you at least have to approve the tag. You've talked to your sister before and she didn't take you seriously right? I would try one more time. Invite he to lunch,…
  • don't like hard boiled yolks. I prefer soft boiled, sunny side up or scrambled with onions, bell peppers and maybe a breakfast meat of some sort. I do like deviled eggs though.
  • 10 honey almonds for about 60 cal 100ml lemon sorbet for about 85 cal My two favs.
  • the buffer zone thing! Oh, and coming in full hair and make-up, fake eye-lashes and itty bitty booty shorts and halter tanks and walking a snails pace on the treadmill. Dude I want my cardio, if you want to be seen, go to a freaking club, you'll get more of a work out dancing than put-putting around on the treadmill like…
  • ^^^^ This and a gift of large pants you just say "thanks, I'll try them on right now!" Then go do it and come out and show her that they don't fit. Make a joke out if it "Oh my gosh I can get both my kids in here with me! I'll save them for the next time I'm pregnant" She may offer to take them back and get something more…
  • I rant to my husband about toxic family members. Makes me feel better. Also, I moved to a different continent. Not an option for everyone, but I had a lucky opportunity
  • I was 12, my mom took me back to school shopping she bought me size 12 jeans. She then told everyone she talked to in front of me that she had to buy her 12 year old size 12 pants that I was doomed to be the fat kid at school. The "fat red-headed girl with freckles". Then she'd end it with "hope she doesn't need glasses…
  • This has never been a problem. I have never, not once, ever dated a guy that left the seat up. It wasn't a condition of dating I think it was the fact the one had all sisters, one had 5 sisters and one brother and my husband has 5 sisters. Our cat drinks out of the toilet. He has a nice clean filtered water fountain that…
  • I have a 9 month old son, we use the terms winkie for a boy and wuhu for a girl. We decided that starting with potty training we will use the anatomical terms. When my son has diaper rash or something like that I will say "his little boy parts look red" or something like that to my husband. But it is hard for us to change…
  • fantastic, wonderful and inspirational. Thanks.
  • Arms, but not big buldgey body-builder roid-monkey arms. The v-shaped muscles on the sides of the lower abs are also quite attractive.
  • ah the differences between men and women. Some things, no matter how hard we try to be equal, will just not be the same between us. For me it's nothing to get frustrated or aggravated about. I encourage my husband to eat more. He was trying to keep up with me because "dieting by yourself is no fun" but he was so lethargic…
  • nope not a rice hater, complete opposite, I'm a rice lover, brown, white, sticky, fluffy, doesn't matter. I just watch portion control. it's odd I noticed this post because I was looking up this morning "why is brown rice better for you" and it seems that there is some debate on the topic. White rice is processed and…
  • Hamburg, Germany. But I am an American citizen born and raised in Riverside, CA.
  • punches. How old are your kids? Can you take them to the pool with you? You can do pool jogging relay style with your kids or see if you can run in the pool faster than they can swim of course letting them win. They can have cannon ball contests and you can do pool exercises. What's the spring weather like where you are?…
