I cannot....and will not give up coffee (need it every day!), chocolate, or cheese. I have found I can still lose weight as long as these are eaten in moderation. This makes me happy

I am amazed by the difference in these pictures. You looked good before, but now everything looks tight and lifted. I LOVE weight training also, and the results are undeniable. Thanks for posting this...very motivational!

I would have to agree with almost everybody else who has done P90X. Results really show during the final 30 days. Today is day 60 for me. I forgot to take measurements this morning, but I have lost 14 pounds so far  I started getting a bit discouraged during the first couple weeks of training block 2 because the…

Your tummy is my inspiration! Love the new swimsuit also!

You look incredible. Keep it up!

Wow, nice transformation! I think you look perfect at this weight. I don't know where another 15 pounds would come from...

I do not choose to call it a cheat day, but I know plenty of other people who do use this term. I think this is because the implication of a cheat day is that you are eating something you would not eat normally while on your diet. I love when people brag about their "cheat" meals or days because it shows they are human…

Very inspiring! I'm approaching day 60, but I still have quite a ways to go to reach my UG. I love how toned you look in the after pics. Great job!

Work in progress??? You look amazing girl!

I am almost to my 60 day mark in P90X. I usually do my strength training in the morning and Ab Ripper X at night when I get home from work. Sometimes I will even do Ab Ripper X the next day. So far I have gotten great results with this program even with changing up the scheduled routine. I figure I'm okay as long as I get…

First of all, you don't look like you're even close to 40. Second of all, you look so much happier and healthier now. Amazing what healthy eating and exercise (particularly weight lifting) can do for you! Thanks so much for sharing!

BUMP

Bump. I also struggle with finding the right percentage. My goal is to build muscle and lose fat. I still have between 20-30 pounds I'd like to lose, but my weight loss has slowed tremendously.

I would assume from your description that you are "very active". I like having the FitBit to give me a more accurate reflection of how active I am from day to day. Then I can see if I'm tired and hungry from being so active, or just because I'm stressed out or PMS'ing. Thanks for the tip. I was thinking about buying…

Thank you. I really appreciate you taking the time to break that down for me. This is what I pretty much figured out in the spreadsheet, but I was having a hard time trying to figure out what I should put for rest/t.v. time. You made a good point about what kind of t.v. time I have. With 2 kids, I don't get a whole lot of…

Okay I have a question. What if my activities often vary on a daily basis. Monday-Friday I am up at 4:30 a.m. to workout for about 60-90 minutes. I am currently doing the P90X program, so my workouts are intense. I work a desk job Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm. Then I go home and life is kind of hectic. Making dinner…

I'm currently finishing up my 7th week of P90X. I lost about 6 pounds during the first month, and about 3 pounds over the last 30 days. The weight loss seems to be getting slower, but that is to be expected as I only have about 20 more pounds to reach my first goal weight. One thing I have tried recently is increasing my…

Andrea...you are awesome! I love your attitude toward eating right and losing weight. You have dropped a nice amount of weight, and it really shows in your pictures!

I felt like crying while reading your post. After all your body has been through, that is one of the most awful things you can hear from the one person who should find you attractive no matter what. I met my boyfriend almost 5 years ago, and I already had 2 kids. I have stretch marks, and I gained at least 50 pounds during…

Okay I just went and figured everything into the spreadsheet, and the result is the same as the website. According to this spreadsheet I should be eating 2181 per day. This is crazy! I was always taught to eat less and work-out until my legs feel like they're going to fall off. That's the only way to lose weight. Problem…

Thanks I will definitely check out the spreadsheet. I went over the activity levels several times already. I messed up at first, but I figured it out by entering 22.5 hours of sleep and then I added the 1.5 hours to the different activity levels until it reached the amount I usually burn each day. I'm doing P90X (about…

Bump interesting read. I have been eating close to 2000 calories, but this method suggests I eat close to 2200 calories. I'm nervous to increase my calories beyond 2000, but I'll give anything a try to break through this darn plateau!

I thought it was bad enough that people log light housecleaning as exercise, but food preparation....REALLY?!

Simply AMAZING!

Wow, you looked great in your before pictures but phenomenal in your after pictures. Plus I LOVE the tattoo! Great work!

Bump love this thread!

Bump for later!

So far so good. I started on Feb 13th 2012, and I'm down almost 10 pounds and several inches all over. Not a huge change in weight and/or appearance, but I feel so much stronger and healthier. I heard you get the best results during the final 30 days, so I'm excited to see what happens to my body next month. This is the…
