Just what I need! My name is Kat, I am 40 years old, and a 32 year type 1 diabetic. Today my goals are to get through the day without wanting to chew my arm off, to limit my diet soda intake, and to not hurt anybody....... I can do this!!!!! :laugh:

I don't get irritated so much as i get sad and desperate! My "secret weapon" is the inividual serving of dry cereal....If you can find the ones that are about 3/4 cup, that's the best. I love Raisin Bran, Special K, and Cheerios. It's amazing what 100 calories worth of crunchy fiber can do for a person's mood!

i throw a few crushed red pepper flakes on pretty much anything i would have put salt on ..... it's part mental, because I'm used to shaking the salt on everything

I have the same situation in my office! You almost feel bad by not trying what they make, but it feels worse to eat something that will set you back .... I tend to rely on humor to get through most things, so I made a sign that says "Please Don't Feed the Animals" and hung it on the wall by my desk! It worked....they don't…

OHHHHHHHHHHHH! That sandwich from Denny's was the exact bite that made me realize that my drug of choice (cheese) was leading me down a very dark and desperate road............Only a true addict would attempt to eat that, let alone finish it and want another!!!!! I am so grateful that I have been able to stand up to Satan…

Thanks! Great advice. I have a HRM, but it doesn't calculate calories burned, just measures HR. Guess I know what my next "reward" for a mini weight loss goal will be!!!!!!!
