I don't think he's trying to sabotage you. Maybe he is just used to the old lifestyle where you guys ate a lot of unhealthy stuff and went out a lot. Maybe he'd rather do other things together with you then exercise. Try to get him to buy into the new healthier lifestyle.

I teach 6th grade and they eat very early (10:30ish). I drink a lot of water during the day, usually filling up my liter bottle between classes. I have three dogs. Our oldest Bella is a hound mix that was a rescue when she was around 5 years old. She is now 13. Then we have two energetic Australian Shepherds. Harley the red tri is 11 months old and Jax the black tri is 2 years old.

My aussie Harely, the red tri in my profile pic, seems to be my sworn protector. She barks at any dog, bunny or squirrel that comes near us. However, she is scared of the vacuum cleaner. I guess as long as I'm not attacked by a vacuum I'm good to go.

There are days that I wake up and say to myself - self, I don't want to exercise today or my body aches too much, then I see all my other mfpeeps out there busting their arses and that motivates me to get my *kitten* in gear too. I am self motivated, but it is great to have a group of friends that pushes you even harder.

My mom, who is going to be 80 in September, flew down to NC to see my daughter graduate high school. The first thing she said was, "Where's your *kitten*?"

I use my tracks when I walk. Its great for telling you every detail about your walk/run/bike etc. Since it uses a gps it can show you exactly where you've been. Its great for telling how many mph or kph you've gone to easily track your progress.

Some of the music from the Gladiator or Pirates of the Caribbean soundtracks may be nerdy enough! I have them on my Ipod.
