Thank you for posting such inspiring pics! I'm halfway through 30DS and was thinking about doing RI30 next. Your pictures are the perfect motivation! Excellent work :)

I used to have the Nike+ and shoe sensor. Then I got a new ipod touch for Christmas, and paid for the Nike+ GPS app, and it's soo worth it!! It much more accurately tracks my distances, my pace, calories burned (since you can input height/weight/gender). I like being able to customize the feedback options more. And if you…

I had mine for about a year (definitely not 1000 hours), and I had to replace the shoe sensor. I probably should've tried to contact Nike, but I didn't have the original receipt anymore. It was just easier to purchase a new one for $25.

That's great that they are getting looser! I have the same problem with one of my favourite rings to wear. Mine isn't a wedding ring, so I just wear it on a different finger that it fits a bit better on. If that's not a possibility, can you wear it on a necklace maybe? Congrats on your weight loss!!

LOL The psych student in me loved this!! The side of me trying to lose weight, really hopes this works - that would be amazing! Great work!!

I'm 5'4, and my goal weight is 140. There will be a massive happy dance when I hit that number! ETA - I try to net around 1300 calories/day.

I saw a few posts about the Warrior Dash too, and I kept wondering what it was about. So I Googled it, watched some Youtube videos, and I'm slightly intrigued too! But then I wonder if I could really do it. There is one not too far from me in July, so I'm thinking about it. Would love to hear about everyone's experiences!

I have a 12km run planned, followed by Level 1 Day 7 of 30DS. Then I'm off to go ride my horse for a bit!

If you're used to running on a decent treadmill, it probably has some sort of shock absorber. Now that you're outside, sidewalks and the road don't give very much! Something that I was always told in my running clinics though, is that running on the road is easier on your knee/ankle joints than running on the sidewalk - so…

lol I have one Adele song on my iPod, but it's not on my running playlist. I do have 2 Dr Dre songs, and lots by Eminem! Thanks Rob! I've got quite a few of those songs - and I'm going to go check out the rest now!

When I first started running, after hating it all my life and being "sick" on days we were running at school, I thought that my $50 running shoes from the local sports store would be fine. Within a week of running minimal distances, really slowly, I had the worst shin pain EVER. My friend said to go get fitted properly and…

This is what I do. If it's just soreness and not injury, then it's best to use the muscles but at a lower intensity. Go for a nice long brisk walk to stretch them out!

Hey guys, I thought it might be easier to keep things organized in a group rather than one thread that's undoubtedly going to get really long!! So I made a group and everyone that has posted here was sent an invite. Any one else that's still interested can find the group here:…

Thanks for the post.

You're supposed to do each level for 10 days... whether those are consecutive days or if you have days in between workouts I think depends on you and your body. If you aren't in agony the next day, I'd say do the video again! I do a lot of running as well, so I'm thinking I'm going to aim to do it 5 days a week (nothing on…

I read in another thread to count it as "circuit training" - so that's what I logged it as!

I took before pics... but I may not post until I have really nice after pics!! Claire, if you want to start today with us, there's a link on youtube for the full Level 1 workout. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Pc-NizMgg8 I can't find level 2 though, so hopefully you have your DVD by then!

I'll join you! I just did my first day of the 30 day shred today! After reading so many positive threads on here about the 30DS I had to try it. And some of the before and after pics are so incredible, that it really motivated me to do it.

Every time I try to lose weight, I get stuck at 170lbs. And then I lose all motivation - so I totally feel your pain! I just bought 30 Day Shred (about to go do Day 1, Level 1!) so I'm hoping that maybe this gets my *kitten* in gear and I can move past it this time! Good luck to you!

Just outside of Hamilton, Ontario!
