  • I go there and I love it. I lift too. It's fine. I lift alot with the dumbells and can't lift over 75's so that's no issue. The smith machine doesn't bother me really, it's actully kinda nice to be able to lift your heaviest without needing a spotter. As for dead lifts and squats, I do them using it, it doesn't bother me.…
  • I gave up drinking and smoking around the same time I started eating better and working out. Sometimes when I feel like having a drink or eating something terrible I tell myself I can do it, in one hour. By then the feeling has usually subsided and I don't even want it anymore. So maybe when you get home, when you usually…
  • ^^^^this. I go to the gym to lift....I don't care in the least what anyone there is doing. I don't even notice them to be honest. Just like they probably don't notice me.
  • I'm on the last leg of a 106 lbs weight loss goal. I have 19 left to go. You CAN do it!!!!! It's not easy, you will fall down, you will want to quit....but don't!!!! Just keep going!!!! The best advice I can give is two fold: 1. Don't look at it as 100 lbs to lose, look At it as 10 lbs to lose, then 10 more. Break it down…
  • You have done it before! You can do it again!!! At least give this site a chance for a few months :) it has turned my life around a complete 180 degrees from 9 months ago!!! And if it doesn't work? All you lost was nothing :) its free. Best of luck to you. I hope you can do it! I never like to see someone get elective…
  • It's a problem that can be solved with a 30 min walk....
  • You know it!!! Nothing says "eat clean" like getting your nutrition from a bottle. As long as the calcium doesn't come from a natural source it's fine.
  • Mine is awesome. He has helped me lose 87 lbs and when I went to him in march and told him I wanted to start lifting more....he couldn't have been happier lol. (that's his strength haha) we worked out every other day for about 6 mo. Due to conflicting schedules now we work out together very rarely. But I can do it without…
  • Honestly it was the biggest and most important part of my journey so far. Everything I read from the slowing of metabolism to degeneration of muscle are things I really really want to avoid! I am convinced that drinking hurts you in almost every possible way when trying to live healthy. Good for you for giving it up, it…
  • I agree with this poster^ right to the point. If these drinks mean more to you than your weight loss or fitness goals. You may not be ready to start the journey. But the disire is there, so maybe someday down the line when you are willing to get serious you can make great progress :)
  • Eat before you go to bed. That way your not hungry :)
  • How sore it makes me is how I gauge the session. If you don't push yourself you don't get results
  • I really didn't notice much of a change for a long long time. But I also didn't notice it when I started to gain a lot of weight too. And one day I looked in the mirror (literally no joke) and noticed that I'm not longer a fat guy. That was an amazing moment!!!! Lol, I saw it one day, but not the day before. I still have a…
  • You could consume the calories now, and go for a walk after you finish your shift. You can spend them before you earn them lol like my paychecks hahaha
  • Protein shake!!!
  • I have been lifting for 6 months, in a deficit. Have I built new muscle? No. Has the muscle I already had (covered with fat and almost useless) begun to show and look better? Yes. That's the difference...I haven't gained any muscle mass technically, but I look more muscular and am stronger. Isn't that what I was going for…
  • I agree^^^ it'll be the best investment of your life. Where else can 30 bucks save your life, make you look better, make you feel better, ensure your long term health and (to be honest) make you feel like a BAMF? All that for 30 bucks? That's the deal of a lifetime!!!!! On a side note, learn all the workouts and then later…
  • For me it was seeing that I was 12 freakin pounds away from 300! In my mind I had convinced myself I was around 250. Bought a scale....that will never happen again....I may get fat again (who knows? But I hope not lol) but I will make sure that I know it this time at least so I have no option but to face it. 9 months later…
  • Everyone has a not so great day every once in a while...but I have friends who have a pattern of fast food everyday. How do I tell them it's really hurting them in the long run? On the other hand they are at least logging it...which is a start you know?
  • You can lose weight eating ANYTHING at all as long as your under your cal goal. When goals are fitness related, you really have to watch what you put into your body. You want to lose weight? Just eat under your cal goal, you want to get fit? Pay attension to what you fuel your body with.
  • I'm in college too, I used to drink alot. Which is how I got in the shape I was in, it does absolutely nothing positive if you're trying to lose weight or build muscle. (two things that I want to do, first lose weight, then build muscle) so I cut it out completely. If my friends ask I tell them I'd rather have this 6 pack…
  • One of my friends is a doctor, he smokes and drinks regularly (he is not overweight tho) however because he makes those choices it doesn't have any baring at all over his knowlage of medicine. 9/10 times anyway People don't listen to their doctor when they tell them something they don't want to hear. " you need to get your…
  • I'm in that group as well, I'm 6'1 203 lbs. my goal is 180, maybe 175. Feel free to add me if you would like :)
  • Having a blast with your friends and going to parties doesn't need to include eating poorly. I do both of those things, I eat before I go out and I don't drink alcohol. We have some fun wild times and it doesn't make an impact on my weigh loss efforts one bit :)
  • When people ask me about my weight loss they usually say "you've lost a lot of weight" I act as if I don't even notice...I usually say "maybe a few pounds, I'm not sure" I don't know why I downplay it...
  • I do Monday's as well for another group. I'd just use that one most likely :)
  • Hi I'm brad. I'm 6'1 My highest weight was 288 lbs My current weight is 201 lbs My goal weight is 180 lbs I want to get in shape because I want to look good. I feel kinda bad saying it, but it's for pretty vain reasons. I have no health issues, but there is no doubt that I was headed in that direction if I hadn't have made…
  • I would like to join :) I only have about 23 lbs to go, but I have some goals for after I reach that weight. A bulk cycle and a cut. So add me in if you can :) Ps. I have never been confident enough to go to a waterpark without a shirt on, that would be awesome to do next summer :)
  • Wow that is awesome!!!!!! I def will buy this video now that I've seen your results!!!! Next paycheck I will go to the video store and get it.
  • Honestly, that goal is a little high...I would aim for a 1-2 lb a week loss. That will still give you great progress!!!!! (I'm set to 1.5 and most weeks I lose about that) find an exercise that you can/are willing to do everyday and do it. I started only being able to run 45 seconds. (I have now found a greater passion for…
