The harshest criticizers of smokers are former smokers....just as the harshest criticizers of drinkers are recovering alcoholics.

2 rest days....after my biggest lifting sessions, one after chest day, one after back day
-
It's been said that generally you can expect to gain 5% of your current weight. So 200 lbs=10 lbs, 150=7.5 etc...you of course can prevent it by working out and eating right :) best if luck!!!!
-
I eat a little heavier on my big lift days, but I try to never eat over my tdee.

Hmm...very interesting. I do have some overweight female friends that I wouldn't even consider doing anything with. But I always thought it was because they were just "one of the guys." Very interesting read for sure. It may be true.

I really saw the biggest changes in my body when I started lifting in march, I'm now around goal, but I'm not going off weight anymore, now it's bf% for me. I really want to get under 12, I'm at 14.1% currently. And honestly, people who lift have much better bodies than people who just do cardio in my opinion. Have fun!!!…

I'm going to workout in the morning. But I'll be over fit sure, I don't care....it's one day. And I'll be lifting hard too, put those extra cals to good use :)

Sorry bro...I'm also trying to gain some muscle and it is by far the worst thing you can put in your body....I limit my drinking to once a month. When your trying to lose its not so bad, but as far as building goes its a killer. :( stick to your water bro, way better off.

Mine were so bad! I use coca butter. Also tanning has seemed to help oddly enough
-
That's awesome!!!! I remember when that happened for me too, now mine is lying the other way lol by almost 50 lbs haha
-
Nice job man!!! Super motivating!!!
-
People have lost weight eating nothing but twinkees....
-
I go from wake up to sleep. It's easier lol my days aren't always the same
-
I don't agree with half of these. There is only one "skinny rule" 1. Don't eat more calories than your body uses throughout the day.
-
Who knows, maybe she'll trade me in for a compact, better gas mileage sure, but no where near the power ;) lol

This poster is so right...after high school my mom pressured me to go to college....and I did. And graduated. Right now I do the same thing for a living that I was doing while in college...because it pays well and I like it. I don't think I'd ever be happy doing what I went to school for. Thanks for talking me into a 6…

I love this idea man!!! Make it like lease, with a buyout option at the end...you can keep it if you want, if you feel it just doesn't suit you needs trade it back in a pick a new one ;) lol

Everyone's different. I have a "type" that I'm attracted to as well. But a cute southern accent melts my heart no matter what size :) someday ill find my country girl lol Ps. On a related note, if any of you happen to know Taylor swift put in a good word for me ;)

Exactly. What I've been doing for the past few month is going on bf% alone. I've stayed at almost the same weigh the whole time (I think I've literally lost 2 lbs) but I've list 2.4bf. from 16.5-14.1. :)

Good job bro!!! And I completely agree, sure your fine for a while but it will catch up to you. My blood pressure got up to borderline hypertension....the last time I went in (prolly about 25 lbs ago actually) it is now normal, not high even. I kept asking him if he was sure lol because I have always had "high" then…

I switched to it when it was well above my bmr and like 300 cals below my tdee, made the transition to maintain a breeze :)
-
My fav one is a steak dish that comes with shrimp too!!! :) it's on the 550 cal menu, I don't worry about sodium at all, I work out and sweat plenty, I also drink a lot of water and don't have blood pressure issues :)
-
I have quite a bit :( I'm hoping it will go away naturally (I don't care how long it takes) I've seen the tummy tuck pics...good lord....I honestly wasn't expecting it to be so brutal. In the mean time I'm attempting to fill some of it out with muscle and a bulk, it seems to be working well my arms and legs are fine, my…

I agree with this poster...how do people downplay that obesity is one of the top killers in the nation? It is a real actual health risk. Just because you don't have complications from it now does not mean you won't down the line.
-
I know smokers that have perfectly healthy lungs right now....and drinkers who's livers are fine....doesn't meant that eventually these things will hurt their health. Same with fat, you may be fine right now...but somewhere down the line it could cause you a major health problem....so "damn these doctors telling us to lose…

It happens....if they are interested in you, they WILL want to talk to you. Been on both sides and that's just how it is basically....

As close to bed as possible. I eat then hop in bed, and try to get to sleep.
-
Both getting enough protein and lifting are very important in maintaining your muscle mass while losing weight.

I didn't care who won. The guy I thought would do the most good has been out of it for a while (Ron Paul) I said screw it and wrote him in anyway. I figured this way at least I could vote for the person I thought would do the best job. :)

Best advice I can give, not matter what you choose, make sure it's something you can do realistically for the rest of your life :)
