Welcome! MFP is a good resource... for me the trick is planning ahead. I find comfort in knowing what I am eating for my next meal...and then i am less likely to eat junk. feel free to add me.

I find I am energized for the day after my work outs. I have to eat before and after my work out tho, or else I feel drained. Protein and carbs before and after works the best for me

so can most people squat their body weight, or 1.5x body weight? etc?

haven't talked to him yet about it, i see him on thursday ... If he says what do you want to be able to lift... i would have no idea how to answer that question. I can do everything in my daily life just fine.. but i want to be more 'sculpted' (if that makes sense)

may i suggest getting a trainer for a few sessions (perhaps you can both be there at the same time) he could go over basics and help with good form, which is SOOOO important! good form= less chance of injury!!! (in my opinion)

right now I am in the phase of saying to myself "food will not make this better or go away...." sometimes it works... but the suggestions about exercising is a good one... just even a change of environment probably would do wonders

I was 154 and an down to 146.2 and still am wearing the same size. They are definitely more comfortable, but am looking forward to going down a full size! I am interested to hear other peoples responses

I didnt read all of the posts... however... if you can wait until november.. you could alway grow it for "mo-vember" in support of prostate health for men. You get to trial it for a month, and can decide what to do on Dec 1st with it. I generally dont like moustaches, but will 100% put up with it for a set period of time…
