Yup. Makes total sense. Thank you.

Yes. I am very hangry. :D

It is so frustrating because it wasn't even anything super exciting like pizza or a dinner out. I literally walked around the house grabbing random handfuls of goldfish.. A cheese stick.. PB bread... Oh well. I had a stressful day Tuesday (a lovely disagreement with my husband). Both don't happen often. So moving on. lol

I think you are right. I did it yesterday and have my day today prelogged and it's almost dinner time.. Tomorrow I'm going back to normal! Lol
-
Yes! I also love watching the Pioneer Woman "eye" a cup of cheese lol. But cheese has no calories so..
-
Well I'm sorry you failed at not trying to look good:) haha !! Healthy and gorgeous. You go lady.
-
This has happened to me. That's why now I fit those foods into my goals and occasionally have a "less aggressive deficit day". Which means +500 for me.

In cigarettes case.. Yes. I am 1.5 years smoke free. Quitting smoking is so hard BUT I do feel my relationship with food is more difficult. Food is something you have to face every single day to survive. I feel food choices that are in your cabinet and in your face daily are harder to handle. You don't need cigarettes to…

I buy yogurt fruits veggies and cheese sticks too. I would love to cut the chips and stuff out of the house but my biggest child (my husband) lol Wants them too.
-
I am the same! She is a eating machine lately!
-
I'm glad I am not the only one! If my daughter wants a sweet treat she knows she must finish her fruits and veggies at dinner first. So we do the same. I do not have the problem with water. Thank goodness she naturally picks water! My daughter asked for chips for breakfast this morning. Lol

Thank you! We do cook together and try out fun recipes. I just printed a few yesterday actually. I want to teach it without making it some big deal. I watched my mom diet my whole life and she wasn't even big. I gained weight and I always felt pressure with food. Like "oh of course Danni wants more chips!" was the tone in…

*bows down to @DeguelloTex* For you are strong and we are weak! I'm glad your journey has been such a walk in the park.

I saw those as helpful suggestions for alternatives vs a blatant and dry "don't/stop". That's all.
-
Asking her parents to remove it from the house was mentioned. Finding a replacement such a PB2 was mentioned. Having to go packs available to promote moderation vs a whole jar was mentioned. She could "just stop" but apparently that isn't easy for her or working because she made a post about it for help. I just didn't see…

We are talking about shoveling peanut butter from a jar. Of course medical necessities take it to another level of urgency but none were mentioned.
-
I am all for personal responsibility and choices. But if every weight loss obstacle was as simple as "stop it" or "just don't" MFP wouldn't exist and we would all be healthy. That is not helpful. Get real.
-
You could also ask your parents to skip the jar and get the to go packs. That way you CAN have one little container each night but make it fit in your day.
-
I do this with extra crunchy peanut butter which is my absolute fave. I told my husband I can't have it in the house anymore at all. That is the only food I can not bring home. If I do want some I have a tbsp when I visit my Mom. Lol. My 7 year old and husband want the occasional PB&J but not often.

I googled side stitch and tips and that is most definitely what it is! I had never had one well... Because I don't normally exercise. Lol thank you all.
-
I'm so sorry. I'm the same. My secret lover (the pizza delivery man) would have been called within minutes. Why do we hurt ourselves when others hurt us? I hope you are feeling better soon. I don't know what your partner weighs but that could be a big loss to consider:)!
-
I will never be confident at this size! Sad huh? Good thing in working on it!
-
That is a GREAT IDEA! I will do this next time.
-
Parking at the furthest spot is a great idea. My kids would be like "what the heck?" But it would be good for them too:)
-
A true inspiration! I would love to be your friend on here to support each other. I started at 272 and I am now 250 and really could use a friend with her head in the game like you!
-
This sounds incredible.
-
You can do it! I was 272 and felt so far gone. I've made it to 250 and I am feeling hopeful. Feel free to add me:)

I'm sorry you are dealing with this. Does he have a weight issue? In some cases spouses are fearful of what weight loss may mean for their partner. Or if they are overweight they may feel pressure to get on the wagon too and may not be ready. But mean comments about weight are never okay. Is he rude about your weight or…
