  • Hi everyone. I've done this before about 6 years ago and list 15 kg. Now it's time to start again.
  • I'm vegan 1 1/2 years now, the general consensus is we eat way too much protein. But if you want to build muscle lots of beans legumes nuts etc: Beware of the nuts though all the oil is fattening.
  • Yes and healthy vegans don't eat a lot of those foods. Question though, if you didn't want to rain on her parade, why did you?
  • good for you and well done.
  • I just binge here and there on as much fruit as I can get in my stomach and usually the percentages are close. It will never be easy to get it exactly to 80 10 10 though so rough enough is still good for me.
  • hilarious!!! love the sign
  • I make a rough protein bar thats a bit different every time. You can add or take from the ingredients as u like but its a bit like this. It has no added oils or fats and uses 2 raw oranges to bind it. Mix a couple of cups of oats with the following (ground up in a food processor) 1/2 cup flax seed, 1/2 cup goji berries 1/2…
  • Hi if your sick and unable to exercise (Im assuming your Physically capable of moderate exercise, although I might be assuming wrongly) you might not be eating enough, you need to eat to have energy and feel alive. I've had plenty of days where I eat well over my supposed calorie intake and since being vegan don't count…
  • I sometimes do eat cereal 3 times a day. If you call oats/porridge cereal (& sometimes vogels cluster crunch), I eat it with sultanas / goji berries, raw mangoes cut up etc etc. I've been doing youtubes durianrider foods (vegan). Ie: unlimited carbs and sugars and low fats. Seems to work as I'm eating more then ever and…
  • TELL HER IT'S BY CHOICE THAT YOU WILL NOT TELL HER THE REASON YOU DON'T WANT CHEESE. UNLESS OF COURSE SHES JUST BEING FRIENDLY.
  • IVE THOUGHT OF THAT MYSELF PREVIOUSLY AND HAVE NO ANSWER FOR THAT. MAYBE IT COULD BE THE GIFT OF LIFE ISN'T WORTH IT IN SOME CIRCUMSTANCES. OR JUST PERHAPS THERE IS NO ANSWER TO THAT ONE AT ALL AS ANY LIFE IS WORTHING LIVING TO SOME.
  • hi all Been vegan for a mere 2 days. Got onto the website not milk.com The studies mostly seem to be evidence based practise level 4 or 5 studies. It makes good sense ie the highest proportion of people with osteoporosis live in the biggest dairy consumption countries. Will give veganism a good crack and see where it takes…
  • Youve got some great advise here already. Mine is simple fruit veg (prunes especially aready mentioned though) plus no processed food. If your on any opiate based type drugs for pain ie codeine. they slow down the GI track (Gastro intestinal). Dump these drugs for the time being Good luck & Cheery Xmas
  • I want to thank all for the advise. I have started using the cut down technique, so obvious that I don't know why I didn't use it before. It has so far been working, the fact that my body is getting used to a smaller amount of nicotine every week plus the knowledge and ongoing mental aspect that I know I can get used to…
  • try the cut dowm strategy ie full bottle 6 fays 3/4 botttle 6 days 1/2 bottle six days etc
  • Who gives a toss what others think !!!. Too much thinking is the problem. I work as a Paramedic and I can assure you I never take any really old really fat people to hospital. Because they just don't get really old. All the 90 plus people who get to hospital are skinny, so whether its exercise or eating better, skinny is…
  • margarine never have it on bread or butter for that matter. margarine was designed for turkeys years ago to fatten them up, and they wouldn't eat it So the manufacturers had to do something with it. So presto add some colouring and give it to humans.
  • you look about 32 but instincts tell me about 37 cheers rod
  • my wife get a life and just dont worry about it

  • I did a 10 day bhuddist retreat and the teacher said when some students reach a point like seeing there light or being absorbed in it ( I think it was called the 1st Jhana) they asked what now or what comes next. His reply was now comes next, what next is now.So keep on focusing on your breath or whats happening to your…

  • its spelt emaciated unless its an American way of spelling it. Cheers
  • hi Yen, trusting you will reach your target, my wife and I have a lot of success on this programme, Although she is doing what I call a special starvation diet at the moment and only eats 500 calories a day. Any how we are going to Vietnam on the 17th of October for 10 days, we will go to Saigon for 3 and Hoi Han for 7, we…
  • for a while i made sure every day i ate 4 large carrots and 4 tomatoes, before anything else ie i sometimes ate them for breakfast and lunch. You are so full you dont have as much room in your stomach for the sweet foods so even if you do eat them you dont eat as much, try giving that a go.
  • get some good nix or bib nix like advised generally the more expensive the better. If your new to riding and dont like having the exposure lycra gives you wear a pair of shorts over them. Your backside will toughen up, also you can do more riding out of the saddle, ie standing while pedalling. It uses more energy but hey…
  • good on you izzy the cycling will definitely help. I found i did a bit too much at first and tired myself of it a little early so now i just ride occasionally. Until I feel like I need it on a regular basis again.
  • been cyccling since i got my new avanti carbon bike 6 months ago. though not hardcore yet I have lost 15 kgs. I am sure my short once or twiice a week ride has contributed. Ive got down to a 21% BMI and cycling definitely helped. And yes it is a bit addictive particulalry when you go in a group as I try to do on a Saturday…
