  • I have a friend that when she loses weight; that is how she does it. She replaces her lunch with soup (though hers comes from a can). I would think that if you could make your own and control what goes in it; that would be the way to go!
  • Just found this group today! Did Combat 30! I've been doing Body Pump but my wrist and hips are feeling it and I need to take a break. Combat arrived at the perfect time!
  • Me too! I start tomorrow!

I have yo-yod between 190 and 160 and am currently 188. In 12 weeks I would like to be 168! I have a really hard time sticking to my…
  • What a roller coaster already! First week I was super motivated, lost 7 lbs, then two weeks later and I gained back a pound and am catching myself over eat and eat way too many sweets! However if you fall you have to pick yourself up. I started Day 1 of turbofire today and I set alarms on my phone to record what I eat. If…
  • I was really shocked to learn when we moved to Anchorage that they don't have snow days... only rain days in the winter.
  • I live in Alaska and it is in the 40's all week which is NICE HOWEVER all the snow is melting and I have about 4 inches of clear ice on my sidewalk and driveway. I'm sure we will be paying for it dearly when the lower 48 warms up! I miss Florida when I never had to worry about this kind of stuff!!!
  • Go find some Les Mills classes! They are amazing. I live in Alaska and theres only body pump up here. DEFINITELY what I miss about florida!

  • Coolchick207- I totally see the difference! I lost almost 7 lbs. HOWEVER this is my first week and when I started my stomach was SO bloated. I know a lot of it is water weight. But my fat pants fit and that makes me happy! SW: 195.2 CW: 188.8 GW: 170 This week I am going to make a better effort to drink more water and work…
  • I second (or third) this! Cheat days lead to a VERY slippery slope for me!!
  • Ya'll have no idea how big of a deal it is for me to "stick with it" even 5 days! It's been a week now for me and I'm really noticing a huge difference. I feel SO much better! My stomach has already deflated and I can tell the water weight has come off. Now to really working hard to build muscle and kill that fat! I'm…
  • The people that I have seen that lose a ton of weight the following weight- tend to gain a little at first. It could be muscle weight. Also watch your sodium intake! Keep it up!
  • We ate out at buffalo wild wings. Do you know how hard it was to eat naked tenders (cut up chicken breast) and a side salad while my lovely husband ate as many chicken wings as his heart desired. I did drink a diet coke which for me was a splurge =)
  • I love my hourglass shape! Not crazy about it at this weight, it doesn't look as good as it could but starting at about 180 lbs it is my favorite thing to play up!!
  • While my husband was deployed to Afghanistan I lost 20 lbs. He has only been back since mid October and I've gained back 15 pounds!!!! OBVIOUSLY something had to change and I was doing something HORRIBLY wrong! I now realize I was eating at least double than I should be! Also doesn't hurt that we have vacation plans for…
  • I have the up but I wouldn't say it really tells me my calorie burn. What it does tell me though, is how much i'm sleeping and how I'm walking. It has been a huge help in figuring out what makes me sleep better and how much sleep I actually need!
  • It was 35 in Anchorage, Alaska today. Normally it is the opposite so I'm enjoying the heat wave!!
  • Run, run, run!!! I used to be in the army and I BARELY shipped out of meps. The one thing I should have done different was run! I think you just need to find out what works for you dietwise. For me, low carb is the way to go. Every person is different though! Good luck!
  • I never realized how much food I've been eating. Seeing how many calories I have left for dinner really motivates me to go to the gym and get a really good workout in!
  • I miss Fort Campbell! I never thought I would but I definitely do! We are now stationed at Fort Richardson in Alaska!
