I prefer this but I've purchased Morning Star as well.

I completely tore my ligament 10 years ago and did exactly what you did. I was off of my feet for a couple of months. No surgery just let it heal COMPLETELY. I can't wear heels higher than 2 inches for a few hours. A month ago, I sprained my ankle (possible torn ligament also) and learned from my mistake so I'm staying off…

Sounds good, Aletha & Glenn. My March goal: 372 miles (12 mile daily average).

Everyone seems to be on track around here. Excellent work. One more day left. Made my goal today - 341.1 (336 goal). Yay. :drinker:

Old? I don't think so. Add me if you keep your diary open to your friends. I'm also more concerned about eating healthy over weight loss (although I'm losing weight too).

291.63/ 336 (87%)

As of 2/16 - 208.9 towards a 336 mile goal
-
Fantastic!! You did a really good job and I love HOW you did it -- exercise and eating less.
-
Ended the week 109.7 miles to the 336 goal. Glenn, you are right. I just don't like not making a stated goal, want to lose this weight, and want to be able to eat more than 1300 calories a day.

If you love the fizzy in sodas, get a Sodastream and make your own soda as healthy as you want it. I drink at least 64 ounces of water his way without the sodium, sugar, aspartame, etc. Play around with flavorings until you make something that works for you.

16.2 miles today to catch me up towards my 12 miles per day goal (336 miles). I've got 251.31 miles to go and taking lots and lots of ibuprofen and Tylenol.
-
Definitely. Exercise also helps. Logging everything I eat every single day kept my weight good for 6 years. I stopped logging and gained it all back plus. 1 year ago, I started again and it is working -- albeit slowly. This is what I need to do for the rest of my life (or until I'm served my meals).

Doesn't appear so. I'm still actively liberal who is working on becoming more lean but never mean.

Good article. Jawbone would do well to cut its price in half at least until it supports Bluetooth. I'll probably upgrade to the Flex when it is released.

You are so beautiful!!!! Love that dress on you.
-
Great job and congrats!! (You are a very pretty lady in all of your pics though.)

I am so against shallowness but.... You really look good

I think it is important to maintain support when losing weight so I always wear a bra -- even to bed. My 80+ aunt wears a bra 24X7 and still has perky girls.

My goal is 336 and I'm already behind! (Drat this torn ligament!)

Many many times over the years... I tried many things from Atkins to simple calorie counting and CONSISTENT calorie counting has been the most effective for me. The last time, I lost over 100 lbs logging everything I ate and kept it off for many years just logging my intake on my Palmpilot and later my smartphone. My…

Glenn, Dan, Althea, & SoRhor - You are so on it. You are right, Althea. February is a short and (probably) snowy month. We have to be realistic. Hit my 500 mile goal today -- 504.44 miles. Biked 6.44 miles this AM and hope to do a few more this evening before I snack on popcorn drinking an adult beverage…

That's the way!!!

Yes, you can lose weight using artificial sweeteners. Based on all that I've read, the most natural sweetener available today is Stevia. (Google it.) You can purchase it for your coffee, tea, etc and being adopted by soft drink makers in the USA who are willing to stand up against sugar/corn lobbyists. For now, Google…

Tore a ligament on my foot  not looking where I was going and now can barely get through 5 miles on my stationary bike. Not sure I'll make my new 500 mile goal now.

Try a bath pillow. Most use them for their necks but if you get a large enough one, it may work for your butt. (I don't have this problem personally and may never have it since I'm a shower fanatic and a clean freak. Even if I ever do take a bath, I have to shower first. Right now I only have 2 shower heads but may ad…

Everyone is doing great here! Go Aletha, Glen, Dan!! This week towards the challenge concludes with 451.21 miles towards my new 500 mile goal. Cheers and have a terrific weekend!
-
Today was 20.11 miles exceeding my January goal by 1.17 miles (401.17) (Yay! ) :drinker:  I'll set a new goal of 500 miles.

I wish they'd either add forum support to their phone apps or use standard forum software and support for Tapatalk and/or Forum Runner.

My heart goes out for you. Clearly, you gave Chloe a LOT of love so both of you were blessed.

5'10" here. Hope to get under 150 at some point - when I'm much older. I'm pear shaped so 150 will appear very very thin. The doctor called me thin at 170!
